A little gem of a game that works so well on the iPhone!
I’ve tried a few shmups on the iPhone and this one is my favourite so far! I’ve played the old arcade version on Mame with a nice BVM monitor so the bar was quite high! And I must say this smartphone version did not disappoint! From the very well tuned difficulty settings to the smooth handling of the ship, laser and bombs on a touchscreen: bravo!
If I had one suggestion: although I love the OST of the game, I wish it were possible to completely deactivate the sound of the game altogether. After a while I’d like to be able to listen to my music and play at the same time. So far the sound settings allow us to dial down the music and sound effects but not disable them altogether so as to play something else in the background at the same time! I’m really nitpicking, the port is already ridonculously good! Thanks for the good work!

2025 and still the best!
Good as it gets! Pretty much the best shmup ever made… controls fantastic on a phone making it the ideal version (imo).
集中し過ぎて何か覚醒しそう
BーWINGSで小遣いゼロ、世の中には凄い面白いモノがあると知りファンタジーゾーンなど普通に楽しんでいたが、絶対ダメな感じの怒首領蜂を見かけてイヤな気分だったのを思い出した。実際1942などのずーっと遊べるコスパ良いのが消えて画面弾だらけの筐体が増えて格闘ゲームとクレーンとテトリスな場所から遠ざかったし。そんな怒首領蜂を大往生ADで支出を気にせず感覚的に試せる。嫌いつつも憧れていた弾幕系をiPadで思う存分プレイすればジョイスティックでは出来なかった操作性で実に楽しい。無料じゃなかったら「弾を避ける楽しさ」を一生知らないトコだった。そうなると広告無しで気の済むまでってコレをダウンロード、ホントに爽快です。何のゲームを遊ぶにも中古で取っ替えだった頃と違ってアプリを入手しやすい時代だし、小銭積み上げて撃ち尽くしトボトボ帰るのと比べたらカスタム含めてもサイフに優しいから今の若い子は幸せだね。家庭で縦シューティングをこんなに快適に遊べるんだから凄い事です。

Starker Port vom besten Shmup aller Zeiten
Ich halte Blissful Death aka DaiOuJou für ein perfektes Spiel. Eine absolut runde Symphonie aus grandiosem Gameplay, perfektem Level-Design, toller Pixelart, einem fantastischen Soundtrack und intensiver Atmosphäre. Das Pacing ist zudem genau richtig. Ich habe wirklich keinerlei Kritik zu diesem Meisterwerk. Und der Port wird dem ganzen gerecht. Die Touch-Steuerung ist makellos und Cave hat der App ein paar sinnvolle Optionen wie z.B. verschiedene Schwierigkeitsgrade spendiert. Alles in allem ein Pflichttitel für jeden Schoot 'em Up Fan.

ゲーム内容に不満は無いが、スマホ特有の問題点がある。
往年の名作を400円でプレイできるのはいいが、指が痛くなる。30分プレイすると、フリック入力が辛くなる。楽しむためには握力のトレーニングが必要かもしれない。
当たり判定が点で表示されていない(ように見える)ので、勘で気合い避けする羽目になる。画面が小さいからその様に見えるのかもしれないが、小さい画面に合わせて仕様を変えてもいいのではないだろうか。弾が少ない3面まではいいが、弾が増える4面で残機を全部失う。東方原作の低速移動のように自機の当たり判定を見えやすくしてほしい。
社長にiPhoneで100時間プレイさせて、操作性と視認性の問題点を改善するべきだと思う。

These games are wonderful but need controller support….they are way too easy otherwise. Pinpoint accuracy touch control is not how this was meant to be played

This is an purely awesome danmaku shmup. Cave, continuing after losing all lives should not require credits or tokens. That insert coin feature in modern shmup games is completely outdated. The game should allow unlimited continues like any modern smartphone shmup. Not requiring insert tokens to continue playing

Finally after years with no updates a 64 bits version of some of caves shooter up is available but please continue as these games should never disappear and we bought them
難しくてすぐ4ぬけど何回でもやってしまう
東方から弾幕STGに入って初めてケイブに触れたのがこのスマホアプリでした。敵や背景のカッコ良過ぎるグラフィックに病みつきになり、他のケイブゲーも色々漁り始めました。
流石に指で精密操作は厳しいので1000円くらいのスマホ用タッチペンを買ってプレイしてみると格段にやりやすくなります。

ボタンが利かなくなる
iPhone XRでバージョン1.1.3をプレイしています。
ボムボタンやショットボタンが利かなくなる瞬間があります。
1プレイで何回も起きるのでハイパー発動や切り替えができないため非常にストレスです。
iPhone 5S以前のバージョン1.0.9でプレイしていた時はいたって問題はなかったのですが…

操作できなくなる 。
何年も待って やっとプレイ出来る様になったのに 、ゲーム中に 、突然 自機が止まり 操作出来なくなります 。d.d.p.mやゴシックでは 全くならないのに このゲームだけなります 。出来自体はスゴく良いだけに残念 。流石にコレではゲームにならないです 。

아무리 검색해도 안나오고 뭘해도 해금이 안되네요 답답합니다ㅠㅠ

Just saying thank you for updating this. I do hope you guys have plans to update ESPGaluda II and all of your Bug Princess games... especially Mushihimesama Bug Panic (absolutely the BEST dual-stick game available for the iOS.... I miss it so much....) and BP2BL (the best of the best when it comes to Mushihimesama). Deathsmiles and DDPR could both use some bug fixing, but other than that.... it's nice to at least have a few of these back after so long without them.

Awesome game but....
As an avid fan of this series and someone who’s been playing it since the very first game I overall just love it so much! However with this mobile version I have ran into an issue where the bomb button completely ceases to work. This recently happened during my fight with hibachi. And as you can imagine my game ended pretty fast. It gas happened multiple times now It really needs to be patched. I’m using an iPhone 8 Plus and I’m really surprised to see a bug like this exists. At first I thought I was hallucinating until I completely removed my fingers from everywhere else on the game screen and started jamming down on the bomb button over and over to see nothing coming out. Other than that the game is amazing.
