About

A race timer specifically designed to meet requirements of dog Agility with special support of USDAA requirements (though not endorsed by USDAA). May be used in test mode for standalone applications or used in conjunction with agilityDogApp's WiFi timer gates. When used with the timer gates, the iPhone/iPad timer starts and stops when the IR beam between the timer poles is broken.

This version works with the new timers. An iPhone or iPad is used to setup and run dog agility trial runs. While the dog is running the proprietary WiFi controller does not show a race timing counter. Instead, when the end beam is broken, this software sends the final time to the WiFi controller so that the run time is displayed on that device. The only changes between this software and the previous version are two commands sent from the iPhone/iPad; one to disable the running display on the WiFi controller and another command to tell the WiFi controller to display the race final time. These messages do not have any consequence should they be sent to a device that does not know how to handle them.
