Great app not perfectly accurate
It’s good and fun but not the most accurate dog scanner out there.

Dog Identifier
My dog called Holly is a Boxer pedigree and it identified her as an American Bulldog and an Olde English Bulldog and a Mastiff.

The app itself is pretty cool however completely incorrect

The app is alright… I scan my dog and it did not have the breed that he was. He is a Bernie’s mountain dog mixed with a (bernedoodle) and that was not on there. Other than that the app is alright. I did send in a request to have it pit on there.

Werbung macht App unbedienbar
Wie im Titel schon erwähnt, macht die Werbung die App unbedienbar. Der Bildschirm ist damit komplett ausgefüllt, keine Möglichkeit die Werbung wieder zu beenden, auch nach Minuten der Wartezeit. So ist die App selbst mit Werbung nicht zu gebrauchen. Man muss die App schließen und von vorne beginnen, um wieder an Bedienmöglichkeiten der App heranzukommen. Das geht ein wenig am Sinn der Werbung vorbei. Sorry, aber da bleibt dann leider nur ein Stern dafür übrig, da die App kein Ergebnis liefert, beziehungsweise man dieses nicht betrachten kann. Ein Klick auf ein Detail des Ergebnisses und schon ist es vorbei. Die Werbung wird eingeblendet und lässt sich nicht mehr entfernen

It could tell what the dog wise works well
Absolute Dumpster Fire!
I’ve been on dog socials for a while now and when my previous social got shut down, I downloaded DS to keep up with friends. People here are insane! Dog Scanner is known across many socials as the dumpster fire of a pet social. There are young children running wild, almost no moderation (aside from censoring certain words, which is extremely easy to bypass), *extremely* inappropriate ads, and so much unbelievable content. The advertisements also promote several unethical practices, and I get recommended backyard breeders on the regular. Furthermore, the homophobia on this app is disgusting, and several users have told LGBTQ+ members many horrible comments that I shall not repeat. Please, for the love of anything, stay away from this app.
Also the dog identification doesn’t even work. It just uses AI and gives you a random percentage of what breed your dog looks most like 🙏

The truth
1.Once,I asked my friend what breed her dog was and she said Cocker-Spaniel so I scanned Pumpkin and it came up with 72.1% Cocker-Spaniel and 28.9% Poodle 2.I love the feature where it tells you about the history of the dog and the description which I googled the history of Jack Russell Terrier and it was exact.I hope this helps your decision on downloading Dog Scanner!

Not good for mixed breeds
Not accurate with mixed breeds but since that in itself is very difficult to assess I’ll give this a 4 out of 5.
Inaccurate
When you scan a dog with pricked ears (e.g some chihuahua mixes) cropped ears, or cartoon/illustrated dogs it says it’s a cat

No longer works. Requires commercials then goes in circles asking permission to camera

Its a great app for scanning and meeting new people but a few of these people aren’t the greatest and get away with saying many terrible things while there are many children on this app.

This is so good I scan all of my puppies and dogs and they both got the percentages right I don’t understand how this app works how can a phone scan these kind of things but anyway I read this a 10 out of 10 stars five this is perfect!
