What's New in Doing
1.2.0
October 23, 2026
Ready for iPhone Duo. Closed, Doing is Today, as always, with Someday, Add, and Settings in the bar down the right edge. Open it flat and the list becomes a notebook: Someday on the left page, Today on the right, with the fold between them. Hold a task and carry it across the fold to move it. Stand it half open on a desk and the Today page splits at the fold: the task you're on sits large above it, with Done, Later, and Add below. These iPhone Duo layouts appear only on iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1. Day and night, part of Doing Pro (in-app purchase): pick one theme for daytime and another for night, and Doing switches with light and dark mode. Your widgets switch too. Fixed: with Doing Pro (in-app purchase), checking off a task in a widget or adding one with Siri could undo changes you'd just made on another device. Those edits now wait for iCloud's copy of your lists and land on top of it. Also on iPad: hold a task and carry it across the middle of the two-page spread to move it to the other list.
