Act 1 really shows how this game is horror, first it looks like a cute anime game. But you eyes always deceive you in the Doki Doki world. It’s a horror Gordy game that many can enjoy, I love the lore of Monika being “normal” and looking more natural than the others to persuade us into thinking she’s the most normal here.

Okay ladies, I have to say something because I keep seeing people call Doki Doki Literature Club “scary” and “disturbing.” 😡 As a mother, I personally think everyone is being a little dramatic.
It’s literally just a cute little literature club with adorable anime girls reading poems. 📚🌸🎀 I watched my child play it and honestly, at first I thought, “Aww, how wholesome!” 🥰
My child Emily was screaming that a girl named Natsuki’s head fell off, but when I looked over, I only saw Monika standing there 😁 So I’m not really sure what she was talking about! Maybe she was just being dramatic because kids these days have such big imaginations. 😂
Yes, there are a FEW questionable moments, but every game has a little drama. 🙄 The girls are just expressing their feelings! That doesn’t automatically make it inappropriate. People need to stop judging a book by its cover. 📖✨
And Monika? She is literally just a sweet girl who wants everyone to be happy. 💕 I don’t understand why everyone is making such a big deal about her. She seems lovely!
Anyway, 10/10 from this mama. 👩🦳💅 If your child wants to play a wholesome game about friendship, poetry, and personal growth, I say let them! 🌸
