A simple app to use with a generic (Papeaso) USB-C video capture card on my iPad. Now I can use the iPad as an HDMI display for the Raspi when I need one.

brilliant little app
I was wondering how I could use my iPad as a monitor with HDMI. I am travelling with an elgato cam link and a usb to usb-c adapter anyways. Works brilliantly. No fuss, the app detects the cam link right away.
Yes, there is a slight lag (this is using a hardware capture card after all), but it is very usable.

Just perfect in every way
I just discovered that you can use the iPad as a monitor for gaming consoles, so I got a little dongle from Amazon and the app suggested by many youtubers. I was really disappointed.
I literally downloaded all the apps available for this particular connection and this was the only one that worked without any hiccups. Not only that, but it’s open source (no stupid subscriptions) and even more importantly, no data collected.
This app is brilliant and I truly appreciate the developers for making it.
I also find out that it can be installed on my Macbook Pro! But unfortunately, the image comes out upside down for some reason without any chance to rotate it or fix it somehow, and there is a barely perceptible delay (I’m guessing because it’s an app for iPad and not optimized for Macbook). It would be nice if they could do something about it so I can play on a 16 inch screen

Just downloaded to try using my iPad as a monitor for my Xbox Series X, along with a cheap £10 dongle. I wasn’t expecting much, but this is superb!
Literally plug in, open the app and boom - brilliant picture quality and next to no lag. Fantastic work thanks!

Worked Perfectly
I used it with my Mac Mini in headless mode. I restarted the iPad and Dongled worked perfectly without any fuss. Highly recommended.

It works fine when I connect a webcam using usb 3 port of my hub. But it’s not working with HDMI input from my xbox one (It seems not recognizing it). I’m using it on my iPad pro 4th gen with usb c. Any advice?

Does exactly what I need it to do - use my iPad Pro as an external monitor for my Steamdeck! If the image or sound doesn’t seem right, just close and reload the app. No big deal, free of charge - thanks so much!
