Loved this game
This was one of the best games I’ve played in quite a while. It had everything, a good storyline, that kept you wanting to play more so you could see what happened next. The puzzle, riddles, hidden objects all so different and not to hard to figure out. I can’t wait to play it again and again. Hope this developer continue to put out games like this. Everything ran smoothly on my iPad. The colors were clear and vibrant, visually stunning… more please and thank you !! Excellent work !

Your game and art work is varied and wonderful. ThT person call8ng for you to stop using NOOSES has live a very limited life and is clearly looking through a racial lens ONLY. They spit these people out of UNI with blinders on and walking around looking for something to be offended about. If you react by taking the nooses out then you will be tKing out MUCH more after that because “ they” are never satisfied. Once you give in then they have you and they won’t stop showing you how offensive you are. Just ignore ……… they have already started eating there own and imploding. Your game is fantastic just like it is!!!! As for YOU GIN SOAKED ……… go peddle your outrage somewhere else. This is a relaxing escapism place.

Want my money back
Purchased two days ago, got the invoice, but game won’t unlock. Plus it keeps shutting down. I removed and re-downloaded it and tried the already purchased but still it won’t unlock. Contacted Apple/Tune store to get money refunded only to be told - Not eligible for refund - tried twice both times refused. So why is it because it’s an older game, but having just paid its within the 14 days. So Madhead games give me back my £6.99, as your game won’t unlock and keeps shutting down. Am absolutely furious over this.

Put whatever art work & graphics you want in your games & ignore the ‘woke’ ‘socially just’ hypocrite. The criminal gutter trash in office they idolize perpetuate these trash narratives to keep people divided so they can keep stealing & acquiring more power & liberal clowns just keep helping them destroy cities, towns, & lives! Time to stop using nooses
I liked this game but I’m using this space to call on Mad Head games to stop using nooses in HOPS and scenic background. The noose is a highly offensive and racist symbol intended in many places as a direct threat to the safety of people of color. I play a lot of hops/puzzle games and I see nooses all the time. There’s a very prominent noose in the ultimate hops at the end of this game. It shows a lack of understanding and sensitivity. Do better. And be the industry leader in calling on your fellow developers to do the same.

Yes, a good one!
Quite enjoyable. I will say that some of the ‘puzzles’ are just too tedious… thanks for the ‘skip’ button! The Hidden object scenes are quite clever, and overall, if you’re a HO fan, go for this one.
Good with niggles
The graphics weren’t all that good - actually so bad it was hilarious! 🤣The other big issue is that I wanted to play this game alongside my daughter on both our tablets simultaneously. Family Sharing doesn’t seem enabled for this game and there’s no way I was going to pay twice. In my opinion I thought this game was quite short for my taste and could use some tweaks here and there but I liked the story line! 😁

Cheeses
I was hoping for something along the lines of The Dana Knightstone mysteries, but the first scene seemed really cheesy when the vines plucked the lady up. Also, not into games where the characters’ mouths do not move with the dialogue.

Wonderful, wonderful Mad Head
As usual, Mad Head has given us an engaging, lovely game, with everything working in unison for hours of escape, but with artistic delight and brain engaging puzzles. The storyline is one of my favorites: adults peering into childhood terrors and delights. Even the villains are multi-layered; every “bad guy” has a story too. Nothing is simply black and white, especially the carefully drawn puppet puzzles. So much of this game is Wizard of Oz meets Harry Potter meets Miss Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch (now there’s a trivia question). Many thanks to Mad Head and to reviewers for holding us together this last year. And I am humbled and delighted, Lynxminx, to be included as one of your DTE reviewers. I was so astonished it took me a week to write this review, but players, I am on my 2nd go with Donna Brave, and it is as just as enjoyable as the first time. Stay safe. The light is coming. We are so close and honestly, without these wonderful games and our fellow reviewers, the days of COVID isolation would have seemed so much longer. Keep masking up for our children and our essential workers!

Donna Brave and the Deathly Tree by LynxMinx
This was a gorgeous adventure, with magnificent graphics and incredible cinematography. The game had a riveting storyline, it was lengthy inclusive of the bonus chapter, and there was a terrific assortment of tasks at each location. I loved the sliding zoom zones and the ability to examine an area from multiple perspectives. The gimmick was enjoyable. It was a trinket box, and upon inserting the treasure, you were able to see a memory and receive a valuable inventory item. The HO scenes had a challenging variety, in addition to a morphing object. A good balance of puzzles was included, many of which I completed. This collection of mini-games included those that were rotational, some of skill and dexterity, code cracking, painting and numerous others; in short, there was a puzzle to suit every player. The only issue noticeable to me was a certain lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface. Therefore, my final rating will be 4.5 stars. I would recommend this game as a must-purchase!

Good long game
Graphics were pretty good but always are with Mad Head games, storyline was ok, nice lengthy game specially for the price! Not sure how 13% off a game for £6.99 equals £6.99 still tho? 🧐
