MeDo Compatibility
The MeDo is a wonderful little device to interface with, but this app just comes short of the customizability that I feel is necessary. The inability to edit MIDI, create your own drum kits, or do any of the synth editing on the phone (despite there being a button implying a fictional app exists) make it hard to get anywhere with precision, or without often needing to start from scratch from a single note slip in performance. The bugs completely erasing my tracks or disabling me from upload make things even more frustrating to deal with. It makes me wonder how much I can do on the MeDo at a time while connected to the app, as the device doesn’t have these issues on its own. It unfortunately makes what would be a tool innovative in terms of baseline ease of use, its portability, and range (particularly given what you can do with its limited 5 channels) better off as a simple MIDI controller for other programs. I find it a shame Donner seems to have neglected these, with the MeDo synth PC app taking a bit to track down, since they’ve removed it from the website. The MeDo itself is such a fun groovebox, and I think with a bit more love from Donner, it could be leagues better. It’s just a matter of opening more doors for its users on PC and phone.

Does not connect
I spent $15 for a mini usb cable to connect to app. Doesn’t recognize. No support . I was wanting some help with the midi controller but no documentation for that either. Terrible company . Will take back the drums .
Doesn’t work properly
I bought one of the practice guitars and was going to set this app up to use it, but I couldn’t even select the guitar in the app. Hopefully they’ll fix that cause the guitar is awesome.
This needs a different way to sign in
This has a sign in and I need a verification code in order to sign in but I forgot my password for my apple account. This needs another way to sign in.
Pocket GO
Can’t connect to the pocket GO, not sure it is possible. Wanted to connect to my iPad as my interface but guess not. The Bluetooth wont recognize it on my iPhone . So sending back and deleting this app!
Good idea but needs lots of work and improvements
This is about using the app with the MEDO. Here is a list of improvements it needs:
1. Make it more stable so it doesn’t crash 90% of the time after loading samples.
2. Instead of just funny names for presets, how about some text that describes it. There are like thousands of them and many are named in the most inscrutable ways.
3. How about letting us hear what they sound like before we load them to the device? That would help a lot. Even just a recorded playing sample.
4. Give us the ability to mark presets as favorites instead of having to slog through long lists.
5. Give us the ability to set it so that we don’t have to verify that we want to load a preset. It’s one extra step in an already cumbersome process.
6. How about changing “remix” to “load preset”? Remix is a weird choice for loading a preset. A song? Yes, but a preset? Weird.
7. If possible, create a MEDO Synth app for mobile, or add that functionality to this app.
Do 80% of this and it would be much appreciated. Do 90-100% and it would be a solid 5 star app and make the devices it works with be that much more attractive.

App keeps crashing
I don’t know what it is sometimes it will open fine but sometimes it will not open at all they really need to fix this

Decent but needs work
Great device (medo) but the app is a bit clunky. The piano roll could do with an edit screen to remove or retune notes. Each sound would also benefit from having a mute option so that you don’t have to enter each sound and drop a volume fader down. The volume fader isn’t working as a fade but more as an incremental jump that happens after you touch it. If you could link the delay (wet/dry) to the sensor so you could tilt the device to get delay on the drums (or any sound) would be great. Otherwise it works ok. Fun to play this with another iPhone and mix elements together. Not going to use this live or on stage.

Not bad, wish there were more songs
I can connect my drums to practice, which is great, but I hope more songs can be added.

The drum practice features in the app is quite helpful and supports the Donner DED series electronic drums.
Immediately disappointed
I received a download code in my electric drum kit. Downloaded the app only to find that the only instruments for lessons were anything except for drums. I do have a lot of other instruments too but you couldn’t preview/listen to a song before selecting it. It was also very difficult to figure out how to get access to anything. I ended up deleting my account and removing the app 15 minutes after I got it. So disappointed.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, all songs in the app can be used with Donner electronic drums for practice and playing. The app only supports drum practice at the moment and does not support other instruments. The provided songs are backing tracks with the drum sounds removed, so you will need to follow the drum sheet and play along to complete the song. We are working on adding a song preview/listening feature as soon as possible. Thank you for your report.
Worst app ever
I bought an upright piano and was supposed to have free courses through the code given and that didn’t work and came here as directed and only drums is available?! Nothing but a headache

I am trying to learn piano lessons but the only instrument available for me is the drums!
