Failed to Connect
I continue to receive the “Failed to connect” error. I have deleted and reinstalled the app with the same results. Until this issue is addressed I will remove the app to regain the space for an application that actually works!
It’s unusable if you don’t have the right phone number.
My phone doesn’t send me verification messages, and therefore I cannot even sign in. I am blocked by the first screen. So if you use a landline or a VOIP phone, you can not use this app.
"Failed To Connect To Server" On App Launch
I've been receiving a 'failed to connect to server' error for the last year+ every time the app is launched. Because of that error, the app is completely unusable. Until that's fixed, I can't give it more than one star. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't correct the problem.
When it worked, it was a fairly good app, alternative I never actually saw any saved or recovered money. It had other useful features, however, and I did enjoy using those parts of the app that produced results.

So how do you get support or stop getting billed by DoNotPay? ARGH !!

Almost a Scam
The app is almost a scam. The subscription is a lot and does basically nothing. I subbed to help me take care of a parking ticket and all they did was put my small text response explaining my issue into a form letter. I paid $36 for something I could’ve googled for not even asked AI and AI would’ve done a better job. Garbage app that is just trying to sucker you out of your money.

The whole presentation of this scam is that it’ll save you money! You’ll NEVER have to pay for subscriptions, plus a lot of other features..
But there’s a CATCH! It’s a $36 subscription fee for them to let you have free trials. lol No thanks.

Subscription did not cancel
I got charged a decent amount of money for a subscription I wasn’t using but cancelled. We’ll see next month if it’s actually sorted out now or if I have to call my bank.

They try to trick you into subscribing to their premium service, then make it difficult to cancel. The irony!!! Double charged me. Hard to get support. BYE!
Price too high
Saw it advertised as 3$ a month on a website. Go in the ap and it’s 36 every 2 months? What? In what world is that worth it for a tiny utility?

When they started they were ok, but now it's all just a scam. They want all your info and money upfront without you knowing what the service is.
