About

Donut is a fasting timer that explains itself. Pick a plan (12:12, 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD, or your own custom window) and start the timer. While you fast, Donut shows your current metabolic stage, glycogen burning, fat burning, ketosis, autophagy, in plain language, plus a running calorie estimate. No jargon, no clinical countdown. Just a clear read on what your body is doing right now. Going long? Donut has a dedicated mode for 24, 36, 48, and 72 hour fasts, with hydration and electrolyte reminders and honest check-ins along the way. Your Fasting Diary keeps a full history of every fast, short or long, so you can see your patterns build over time. Weight tracking works the same way. Log a weigh-in or sync from Apple Health, and Donut smooths out the daily noise with a real trend line, the way a good coach would. Set a goal weight and get an honest, updating estimate of when you will get there. Fasting with a friend keeps you both on track. See who else in your circle is fasting right now, and once a fast ends, Donut prompts you to plan a meal together. Apple Watch support means you can start, check, and end a fast right from your wrist, with milestone haptics and a dashboard for sleep, heart rate, steps, and wrist temperature. Donut requires no account and no sign-up. Your fasting history, weight log, and settings sync through your own private iCloud account, the same way Apple's own apps do. Nothing leaves your device to a company server. Donut is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor. If you have a health condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a doctor before starting any fasting plan.
