About

Dopamine can't be cut off. It can be moved. Dopaminus helps you replace a quick reflex (late-night scrolling, the phone first thing in the morning, checking for no reason) with something that counts: walking, reading, moving, seeing the people you love. One moment at a time, one week at a time. WHEN THE URGE HITS Tap "An urge, right now?" in the app, on the widget or with the Action button. • Your voice first: the sentence you recorded to remind yourself why you're doing this. • 30 seconds to ride the urge out, guided by vibration. • Then something that counts, based on the time you have: 5, 15 or 30+ minutes. UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU CHANGE The manifesto explains in a few screens what dopamine really is: wanting, not pleasure. Why the endless feed works like a slot machine, and why effort feeds it differently. No "detox": that's not what the science says. A REST SLOT Do nothing, or breathe (4–6 coherence, box, 4–7–8), guided by vibration, screen off if you like. YOUR SUNDAY REVIEW A balance gauge between quick reflexes and what lasts. Urges ridden out, time given to what counts, what did you good. No streak to break, no ranking. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU No account, no server, no ads. Everything stays on your phone, including your voice. Export and delete in one tap. TWO NOTIFICATIONS A WEEK, NEVER MORE Your rest slot and your Sunday review. SUPPORT, NOT TREATMENT Dopaminus is not a medical device. For alcohol, gambling, substances, or if you feel overwhelmed, the app points you to professionals.
