Needs Fixing but Potential
I liked all the features of dormway and everything but I couldnt get rid of pesky notifications. I like to clear all my notifs in one go and changing my profiles notification settings would say they were saved but they would revert back when I went back into the setting, and even the notification bubble on my homescreen would stay!

waste of time
seems as though this app fails in even the simplest calendar integration. made a class title module 15, cannot change or update it - not other app had this problem. can’t trust it if it can’t get simple class names form canvas calendar. AI is garbage and useless - will say the same exact same thing verbatim regardless of what your message says

Exceptional app
This planner literally took all of my academic anxiety about due dates off of my shoulders. I uploaded my syllabuses for each of my college classes and it immediately gave me a to do list that didn’t miss a thing. The organization and layout is extremely user friendly and simple yet engaging! I wish there was a way to delete an account or remove courses once they’ve been added though because the first time I accidentally added a duplicate and couldn’t remove it. I wasn’t expecting it to be anything exceptional, but Im sooo glad I found it and will use it for the rest of my academic career. Totally shocked this app is free??? I would pay for it!

Great concept, lots of bugs so far
I love the idea of this app, and I think it could be extremely helpful with some fine tuning. Currently I am having the issue that my classes are popping up five times on my schedule as if I have five things happening at the same time. The task panel isn't working for me at all either, and I wish I could change some of the due dates because syllabi do not always stay the same throughout the semester. I think uploading all of my documents may have overloaded the app and it is still catching up, so I am hopeful that with some times these issues will be resolved and all of my information will be accessible as it should be. Overall, I am very excited about this app, I just wish it worked a little better!

Great first start!
This app is so convient and having everything organzied in such a nice pretty way is definitely going to help me stay focused. The only thing is I gave it four starts because of the uploading syllabi error. It won’t allow me to do it and I’ve tried two different devices.

Fantastic app
I put this as a five star review mainly because I thought this was an app with a lot of potential— and it really is! (This is an updated review.) The UI is nice, and I love the formatting since it lets me upload syllabi individually. DormWay’s great for keeping up with my schedule and seeing conflicts that I probably wouldn’t notice on my own. It also does great with suggestions when to start certain assignments based off of estimates of how long they’ll take.
Something great is that the devs appear to be fixing problems promptly if they arise. I was having an issue connecting to the canvas calendar, which I mentioned in my original, unedited review. Then, it was fixed in the next update (including a little shout out (〃￣ω￣〃ゞ). Thank you DormWay for existing, ily, anyone reading this should download it immediately xoxo. (Also maybe email support if there are issues instead of being silly and leaving a review like me, who somehow forgot to consider that option.)

Fantastic app with a small issue
I’m putting this as a five star review mainly because I think this is an app with a lot of potential— plus, this could even be an issue exclusive to my phone! Still, I’ve got an issue either way. Whenever I try and connect the canvas calendar, it gives me an error stating “this operation couldn’t be completed. (DWNetworking.NetworkService.NetworkError error 0.)” Being that I just got a new phone (iPhone 13 pro —> iPhone 17) and tested the app again, I’d wager this may be a server side issue.
In any case, the UI is nice, and I love the formatting since it at least let me upload syllabi individually. A very useful tool, but with a (hopefully easily corrected) flaw.
