Excessive ads make it unusable
Not a bad app, but the excessive ads and duration make the free version frustratingly unusable.
Too many adds
Great as a concept but the fact I have to wait almost a full minute watching adds to view an alert is not helpful when I think I’ve seen a shark

Downloaded this and deleted it within 10 min, half the time was spent watching adds between new screens. Always a $$$ grab too

Have had dorsal for years. Updating apps yesterday and did my usual check of dorsal this morning. Unusable due to BS ads each time you check a shark report. Not worth downloading 2025.
Great App But…
The app is great and all. You can see where to hit the beach or go on vacation, when and where to hit the water. I just hate this ONE THING.
So, Whenever there are pictures or videos in a report you can’t see them. Why? OH YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION!! Like.. just to see a video and or photo?

Ads are painful
Decent app but the looong unskippable ads for games are unbearable

Really good app, however it seems to crash a lot when I check the local pings and notifications. It’s a wonderful idea, love the way it’s set up…if only it didn’t crash every so often it would be perfect!

Embarrassing app.
Used to be a great app. Whenever clicking on an incident, they show you a 30 second ad. After watching the dopey ad for some dumb game, you can see the details of the incident but can’t see the pictures without a subscription.
Reliable and accurate.
Great source of information on shark movements. Be educated and respect the ocean and yes even sharks.
