Really helpful so far

Needed something better than a bunch of alarms and various reminders - best feature is being able to postpone a dose and schedule things at set times OR at intervals (like 4 hrs between doses), hard to keep up with so many meds so I’ll take any tools I can get

Great

Help me a kit.

Good

For reminding myself if I have already taken my medication or not.

Helpful App

Decent way to keep track of multiple medications. We use it primarily with canines.

Best medicine reminder

This is what I was looking for. I’m getting up in years and this really helps me keep track with my medicine routine. Thanks Dosecast!

Just one fix needed

UPDATE 03/24/2026:
My review below remains the same, but I wanted to add something.

Customer service overall for the app is basically non-existent.

I’ve contacted customer service three times about the same (critical) issue with no response. And this isn’t the first time. So—use the app! It’ll probably do what you need. But don’t expect any support if it doesn’t.

******

I use this app to track a medication I take every 4 hours. However, it’s every 4 hours from when I wake up, which is different every day. So it’s excellent at reminding me about my next dose, 4 hours after each one taken. Even if I’m late on a dose, it’ll still remind me at the correct interval.

But the key to ALL of this is remembering to log that first dose…which, let’s face it, is a little hard to remember when you first wake up. 🥱

I would love to see a “don’t forget to log your first dose” push notification, or the ability to set a timed one (like when you “normally” get up). I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten to log the first dose.

Other than that, I love it. But developers, please PLEASE consider this for the next update.

Data Collection

The App Store transparency report says that this app does not collect any information, yet on first launch it immediately asks to access my contacts (which admittedly you can deny) but their privacy policy mentions collecting pretty much everything. Deleted immediately.

Great App

Assume for keeping track of different meds at different doses and times after surgery.

Very Good but Could Use a Tweak

This is a very good App. It's easy to use and simple to sync between iPhone and iPad so there's little excuse for me to miss a dose.

The additional reminders when a prescription is getting low is also very helpful.

The one addition that would really help their diabetic customers is the ability to record variable sized doses. The amount of insulin needed is in direct proportion to your blood sugar level so the single dose size available in this App doesn't help you keep track of you actual usage.

Not bad, but let the Buyer beware.

I have been using a couple of other pill reminder apps for me and a neighbor that I keep up with her medicines. Both of the other apps have been frustrating and this one appeared to be a saving grace. I did the seven day free trial on the premium version and loved it until it hit daylight saving time and everything went a skew. Multiple request to support and help team yielded no response. Then when I looked and saw that their last update was two years ago and that other than a three-year review, most of the reviews are seven years or older. That’s when it hit me that they probably are no longer supporting this, but they aren’t receiving the money for it. It’s really not that bad. It’s just a bit clumsy. I am going to use it until I can find another one better that has a more current support group.. But I am only buying the premium version one month at a time. Hopefully I’ll find another version in the next two or three months.

Managing the meds.

Overnight after an annual health check, couple of pills got added. Rather than daily, it became - daily pills but after BLD.

This app has been a savior.

Dosecast

I've been using Dosecast for years and completely satisfied.

My med

I like this program it is Serra well design for my needs
I wold highly recommend

Easy to use

Easy to set up and add new medications, much better than other apps I have used.

Freezes.

I've used this app for years and it’s the best around. The only snag I have is that I wish I could select multiple drugs at a time to take at a certain time. I sometimes take my morning pills early and it’s a bit tedious having to do it one at a time.

Better than setting an alarm

The thing that’s better about this app than an alarm is, if you set an alarm and forget it then you’ve forgotten your pills. But this app has a little red dot on your home screen that nobody can ignore!

Good reminder

It works

Useful app

This is a pretty useful app when it comes to pill management and eye drop management. It’s also easy to use. I am using the free version

Great for Families

Great way to keep track of medicine across two households. Easy to use and very helpful!
