Dosefully: Safe Med Dosing

*Choose your own starting medicines (new)* - New accounts no longer arrive with Paracetamol and Ibuprofen already added. Pick what you actually use from a short list the first time you open the app, and again when you add a family member - On the free plan both medicine slots are now yours to spend, instead of being used up before you start *Medicines given after an event, not at a set time (new)* - Some medicines follow an event, a barrier cream after every nappy change, rather than a clock. Choose "After an event" and Dosefully stops asking for times: no countdown, no reminders, no "missed dose" - Note what prompts a dose ("after every bowel motion") and it shows on the card. These sit in their own "Log when needed" block above the schedule - You are still warned if the medicine shares an active ingredient with another one *Temperature* - Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit in Settings. English (US) starts in Fahrenheit and other languages in Celsius, and the saved choice then stays independent of language. Existing readings are converted for display only **(new)** - Record how a temperature was taken, ear, forehead, oral, underarm or rectal, because the same child measured two ways is not the same number. The method shows on the trend chart, which you can filter by method, and on the GP export **(new)** - Dosefully never converts or adjusts a reading between methods, it records what you actually did - An optional date of birth makes fever guidance follow the NHS/NICE infant age bands **(new)** - A dedicated Temp action with a simplified entry sheet, an optional one-hour recheck, and source-linked guidance **(new)** *Allergies* - Allergies are entered as chips with autocomplete, and anything we do not recognise is kept exactly as you typed it **(new)** - Warnings are far more accurate: brand names are recognised (an ibuprofen allergy now catches Nurofen), related drug families are flagged as worth checking, and short entries such as "Soy" no longer match unrelated medicines - Allergy information is for your records and to warn you. It never changes dose timings *Reminders you missed (new)* - If a reminder was delivered but never acted on, Dosefully tells you what it was for next time you open the app, instead of silently clearing the badge. Log the dose, snooze 15 minutes, or dismiss *Fixes* - When two medicines fall at the same time, the schedule now says whether they can be given together ("and") or are alternatives ("or") - Today's medicines appear in the same order as on every other screen - Fixed long-press dragging app content around the screen, stray text selection, and sheets sliding sideways - Free-plan users can now delete an unused medicine outright to free a slot - A new "Repair app cache" option in Settings reloads the latest app files without touching your account data - General performance and security hardening
