No added value - Useless!
What makes this harder to justify is the pricing. The same core functionality is already available for free in the native Apple Health app, while this app charges $2.99 per month—over $35 per year—for an inferior and less refined experience.
In its current state, it feels like a placeholder, underdeveloped and redundant.
Response from developer
Hi Coppy Katz, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we genuinely read every review and use it to improve. We respectfully see Dosify a bit differently, and we'd love to clarify what makes it distinct from Apple Health's medication feature: Dosify is not just a medication reminder. It's an all-in-one personal health companion that combines: medication tracking with adherence statistics and inventory refills, a full medical appointment scheduler synced with your iOS calendar, blood pressure and blood glucose logging with trend analysis and follow-up reminders, a directory for your doctors and trusted caregivers, and professional PDF reports you can share directly with your physician at your next visit. We also offer features Apple Health doesn't, such as Critical Alerts that ring even in Silent or Do Not Disturb mode for life-essential medications (insulin, anticoagulants, antiepileptics), smart home-screen widgets to mark doses as taken or skipped without opening the app, and customizable reminder sounds. Dosify is free to download and use. The optional Premium subscription ($2.99/month) only unlocks unlimited medications, doctors, caregivers and appointments — it's there to support ongoing development, not gatekeep the core experience. Regarding the design, we're constantly polishing the interface based on user feedback, and we'd love to hear specifically which screens felt confusing to you. Please drop us a line at soporte@dosify.org — your input would directly shape the next update. Thanks again for trying Dosify. We're committed to making it the most useful health companion on your phone.
