About

Dot Wallet is a non-custodial wallet for DOT, KSM, and assets on Polkadot and Kusama networks. Your recovery phrase is created on this iPhone or iPad and stored in the device keychain. There is no account on a server. Dot Wallet does not hold funds, and it cannot restore a wallet after you delete it. If the phrase is lost, no one, including the developer, can recover those funds. Create a new wallet or import one you already control, including a Polkadot.js keystore or a Polkadot Vault address. Accounts derived from the phrase are shown with the wallet. You choose the network before you send or receive, and you can look up an additional token by its asset id. Balances are read from the public node for the network you select. Dollar prices are optional and can be turned off. Test networks stay off until you enable them from a normal Settings row. Face ID or the device passcode is required to send, to reveal the phrase, and to export a keystore. The camera is used only to scan an address or a Vault QR code. Dot Wallet is software for crypto you already control. It is not a bank, an exchange, or a source of investment advice.
