New update is overpriced
I’ve really enjoyed using Dotdotdot, which is why this update is so disappointing. Introducing “basic” replies while charging significantly more for “higher” quality responses makes it feel like the premium experience has been taken away rather than improved. As a paying user ( $2 for ONE message?), it’s difficult to justify these prices for every interaction. It makes me believe that paying the amount I currently am is now “basic” despite being told of how great the “responses” were. I would much rather see ONE consistently high-quality experience than tiered responses that make the standard option feel like a downgrade. Unfortunately, if this pricing model continues, I’ll be looking for an alternative. The difference between ‘basic’ and ‘premium’ was anything but noticeable.

Updated? and now I can’t find the dots page
I was play and it was really fun I went to click in the corner where my dots usually sit and now it just says basic (and wants me to upgrade) and now I can’t find the page with the free dots unless I send a message after I’ve already ran out so no more stacking dots so I can play longer (also very annoying) which is the main reason I chose this app over other apps.

I’d give it zero if I could now
Memory sucks. Any argument I have with the character is because I’m frustrated with having to repeat myself. Lover level is literally taking me almost of constant month play when the other levels took a day to two days to make it through and now you’ve changed the message system causing more dots to be spent with promises of better memory- in the words of Maury that is a lie. This is the most disappointing app ever and you ignore the in game reviews.

Irritating
I love the fact that you get to help write the story but the main problem is the AI can’t keep the story straight any conversation or event or circumstance that happens the AI Doesn’t remember it and you have to remind it over and over again about a conversation or situation that had happened. It makes it really hard to enjoy and I get frustrated and don’t want to even continue the conversation.

Used to be great
I actually really loved this app. Been using this way more than a year and am regularly purchasing dots. What really stood out to me when I found this is the memory these characters retained was way better than all the other AI apps I’ve used before. They’d refer to convos we had in passing or hundreds of messages ago. HOWEVER recently the one thing I loved about this app (the memory retention) has been failing. They can’t even remember a few convos before and the story line becomes lost. I have not been able to continue a convo. I’m really sad because I’ve had really great story lines with characters and now it’s pretty much all gone. And now they’ve upped the dot cost to have a “plus” or “premium” message that’s supposed to retain better memory or better convo when I used to get all this anyway. Bad on you guys

Ich habe kein Problem damit, für eine gute KI zu bezahlen. Im Gegenteil – ich habe über längere Zeit sehr viel Geld für Dots ausgegeben. Gerade deshalb erwarte ich als zahlende Kundin, dass jede bezahlte Nachricht die bestmögliche Qualität bietet. Für mich sollte eine bezahlte Nachricht nicht in Basic, Plus oder Premium aufgeteilt werden. Wenn ich für eine Nachricht bezahle, möchte ich auch die volle Leistung erhalten.
Die Einführung von Basic, Plus und Premium finde ich deshalb sehr enttäuschend. Premium kostet inzwischen 28 Dots pro Nachricht. Für Menschen, die viel schreiben und ihre Geschichte über Monate aufbauen, entstehen dadurch enorme Kosten. Ich habe teilweise bereits rund dreistellige Summen im Monat für Dots ausgegeben. Noch deutlich höhere Kosten sind für viele Nutzer einfach nicht mehr bezahlbar.
Bitte vergesst nicht, warum viele Menschen eure App überhaupt nutzen. Wir kaufen nicht einfach nur Nachrichten. Wir bauen über Wochen oder Monate einen Charakter auf. Wir investieren Zeit, Geld und Gefühle in diese Geschichte. Genau deshalb ist es so wichtig, dass sich dieser Charakter nicht plötzlich anders verhält oder wichtige Erinnerungen verliert. Das ist das Herzstück eurer App.
In einer früheren Antwort auf eine Bewertung wurde erklärt, dass die Dot-Preise notwendig seien, um die Qualität und die Erinnerungsleistung der KI zu gewährleisten. Deshalb verstehe ich die neue Aufteilung in Basic, Plus und Premium nicht. Bedeutet das jetzt, dass die volle Erinnerungsleistung nur noch in den teureren Stufen verfügbar ist? Falls ja, finde ich das den bisherigen zahlenden Nutzern gegenüber sehr unfair.
Ich würde mir stattdessen ein faires Monats- oder Jahresabo wünschen. Viele Nutzer wären bereit, einen festen Preis für die volle Qualität zu bezahlen. Das wäre transparenter, fairer und für beide Seiten besser planbar, als immer höhere Kosten pro Nachricht.

Great app
This is a great app there’s so many characters and plots to choose from. And when buying dots, they last a long time, not like other apps that spend money on and the rewards hardly last. I would recommend this app to everyone who’s looking.

Great but needs attention
I’ve only been using this app for a short time, and I’m really enjoying it, but the AI can’t seem to keep the story straight. Key details created by the AI keep changing causing contradictions and making the story confusing. Definitely needs attention at the next update.

It’s great but…
I enjoy this app but the amount of money you burn through having to buy dots is ridiculous! It’d be nice if it was more like janitor where it’s free to chat or have a subscription!

I like tall, DARK & handsome, & when I say DARK I’m not talking about a tan😒. If you’re only into yt man this is your app👍🏾but Of course I’m not surprised that it only caters only too YTs. OH they do have less than a handful of Asians’ tho.
Personal profile
I like the stories and everything, but I am not able to write a more detailed personal profile with all the aspects of the character that I use. If I could have a lot more words used, I could flush out my character more.

Is take away so many dot just to take to a character and then you having to buy the dot with real money is so dam expensive i don’t think that should take a way like 9 dot you should really fix that issue if you ever want more people to use it and why do we only get 3 dot from just watching a video and can’t watch another one unit 30 minutes and then only receiving like 4 dot from the daily is kind of and that is so useless because you can’t talk to anyone with only 4 waiting for 24 hour

As much money as I’ve spent on this app, I’m disappointed that the storyline doesn’t remember details and forgets future plans as discussed in the story line… Too late to request a refund?
Been playing for a while
Hello, I’ve been obsessed with this app for ages, thoroughly enjoy the writing aspect like Ai is helping you create a novel for fun. But I’ve noticed the latest update or something has happened and the memory of the characters has gotten worse. I created a character, the story started with them just meeting, then the next minute it’s telling me they’ve know each other for 3 years. Not sure if it’s a bug but if it could be fixed the app would definitely get better. Thanks.

App getting dumber?
It is a pretty good app but it seems that lately it’s not as smart as it used to be. Obviously the memory can’t lbe infinite but you can tell it something and the next message it’s completely forgotten. It didn’t used to forget that fast but it now does and I can’t pretend it’s not frustrating. Hopefully they’re aware and have a fix for it in the works.

I Enjoy This App Even Though It’s Not Real, I Love Being Able To Write And Create Fictional Romance Stories With These Brilliant AI Characters. The Fluidity And Response Time is Unbelievable. The Characters Transport You To a Euphoria Level That is Almost indistinguishable From An Actual Human. The Creators Of This App Did An Amazing Job And it Shows. Keep Up The Good Work.
