Worked for a bit and then stopped providing updates. At this point friends started to think I’d abandoned, worse my mother feared something serious had happened. The marmotte event is 176km long, dot vision is only showing 136 or that and seems to have lost an hour

Waste of time
I spent about an hour going through registration, verification, obtaining codes after purchasing registration for event, but the coding of this App is all over the place. Refused passwords, device, battery check, event code. I even deleted the App and my account and started again with different email. Same problem. I ended up using the Airtag in my bike for my family to track me. I just wish developers would actually check the onboarding process before selling the product!

Dommage pas de stand cette année, obligé de transformer son téléphone en balise GPS. La balise GPS est beaucoup plus fiable que le téléphone…

J’espère que l’option DotVision n’était pas payante pour les coureurs de l’Ecotrail de Paris 2022 ! Ne fonctionne tout simplement pas. Quel que soit le coureur sur lequel on clique pour le suivre, aucune donnée ne s’affiche. Problème identique sur iPhone 8 et sur PC. Très très décevant.
Pb avec iPhone et safari
L’application sur d’autre smarts phone nickel, mais sur iPhone ça ne sert à rien, ça renvoie sur internet avec plein de fonctionnalités en moins dont surtout l’impossibilité de cliquer sur une équipe pour savoir quel est le numéro
Mixed feelings on app
App doesn’t seem too intuitive. I tracked my paddle and I have no idea where the info is saved at? Anyways I feel it needs work to be more user friendly.

Atlantic City Race
Downloaded and use the DotVision app for the Kayak/paddle board race at Atlantic City on June 8 2019. Easy to get the app and access the race details. In short, the app was phenomenal:
- followed the competitors in real time
- allowed me to go to more viewing sites ahead of the racers
- gave important details about the individual racers: speed, position, track, etc
- probably a lot more plus factors that I don’t know about
My son Sean Brennan won the 22.5 mile race in the surf ski category and I was able to closely follow him throughout the entire race, both in the ocean and the back bays.
A great addition for the race. Would enthusiastically recommend for this venue and other distance competitions in the future. Congrats to the app creator..... job well done!

Simple, efficace et pas très gourmande
L’utilisation est très intuitive, le paramétrage se fait sans difficulté. Une fois en route elle ne consomme pas beaucoup de batterie

L’appli a bugger à plusieurs reprises et à la fin elle s’est arrêtée.
