Best weather app ever
Notifications are too stressful
I support the man behind the app but had to uninstall it ultimately.
The notifications it sends out make every storm sound like it’s the big one and it’s time to be prepared to meet god. lol Just some PTSD from 2011 I guess so really just. Personal issue.
I do not like the map at all however. I haven’t found a way to turn off the future models and that drives me crazy. The future models are never accurate on any weather app. I would also like to be able to adjust things like playback speed for the radar, and have better controls of the information displayed. The KOAM app wins with its map implementation.
Otherwise the app is good, has direct access to Doug’s streams, and a clean interface that doesn’t splash you with the Roper Kia ad every time you look at it, that also hasn’t changed in 8 years like in the KOAM app. I hate Roper Kia, worst of the worst dealerships in this area. So Doug’s weather app wins with its implementation of ads
If the map gets better features and controls, and the wording of the notifications reworked, Doug’s app will be my number 1 again. Even just adding a way too control which notifications we get or a way to edit them would be great.

My storm anxiety, HELPED
I used to have terrible storm anxiety and then I started watching Doug heady then I got this and my anxiety is so much better. Thanks to Doug heady
