Love love love

Creating my own prompts is so fun!! It’s been so fun to have new things to talk about with my boyfriend and sister! Even my little cousins.

Really liked the website

I wish they still had the website version or free options. The app doesn’t fit well on my ipad like the website did. I also don’t really have the money to pay a monthly fee for the app. I wish there was another option like watching an add or having extra things for people to pay for but still being able to use the basics for free. My partner and i really enjoyed the activities on it though. We were able to do some of the virtual dates before it changed over and had a lot of fun!

Couldn’t record any audio

This app is so dumb it wouldn’t let me respond to the questions and kept glitching out. Do not recommend at all. There are so many better apps.

Honest review

I don’t think people understand how great voice chats can be when they aren’t an afterthought. I’ve used WhatsApp, iMessages, and a couple others and the voice messages are always kind lame. Voice messages on dovey are actually a ton of fun and they even give you daily questions to answer with my partner and friends. The reactions on messages are AMAZING and I’m slightly addicted to reacting to my friends messages. Feels like we’re actually having a real conversation and not just sending a voice message. Hope they keep building this. It’s incredible.

Only 3 prompts

I love the idea of this app and the daily prompts for my long distance partner and I, but there were only 3 prompts and seemingly no way to get more - so pretty short lived. We might try some more of the virtual dates, but wish there were more daily prompts.

Your wish will soon be granted 🪄 We have an update coming that's so big, we decided to call it Dovey 2.0. And it will have waaaay more than the 3 prompts you found.

honestly a good app, the virtual dates brought me and my partner closer together, we do long distance and it gets rough sometimes and the prompts u reply to everyday are nice aswell! can only recommend this

Dovey is AWESOME

I actually love using dovey to keep up with my girlfriend. The way I can send voice messages to her makes me feel like we aren’t doing long distance… telling my friends about this!

Awesome app needs some fixes

This is an amazing app however there are times where the audio message does not play from a partner. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

App Not Working with My Phone Number

I would love to use this app and have used the desk top version before, but for some reason my app doesn’t recognize my partner’s phone number or mine. Is there something wrong?
