Inventory isn’t linked to the app
The app continues to allows orders to be placed on items not in stock. I’ve placed at least 5 orders that required a phone call from the store in order to resolve their inventory issues.
Very convenient!
Local liquor stores are often out of the selections that your store carries! Appreciate the convenience!!

Misleading messages
The app continues to display a message stating the store is closed on every order I place even though the store is clearly open.

BEST customer service ever! These guys remember me from previous orders, are always friendly, and act like they’re glad to see me. What could be better? If all businesses treated their customers this way, what a great world we’d have. Downtown Spirits could give Ted Talks on how to do ‘perfect Customer Service’.😚

App signs you out after a day or two
The app signs you out after being signed in for a day or two. Probably an issue with the refresh token.

With Drizly, there were great choices due to using all available retail liquor stores. That ‘seemed’ awesome’ at first, but not really. It was so inconsistent and got increasingly worse to point I couldn’t keep track of who was delivering what products. Plus, one store absolutely refused to deliver to my door! I’m elderly and disabled so they would just tell me that I was refusing delivery because I was unable to pick up my order in front of my building! I was SO glad when DOWTOWN SPIRITS started their app! 😄 The delivery people are all friendly, remember me and are exactly like the actual Downtown Spirits retail staff are: helpful, nice, and a pleasure to do business with.

They want a subscription to make a purchase
This is honestly the greediest business model. Charge someone a monthly fee in order to use their store. Cool concept, but if this is how businesses want to offload their technology costs I think they should hire a cashier.
Also, not having a cancel membership button is the next thing. It’s a poor user experience to not let people get charged money for something they don’t want to pay for. Cancelling a membership should be just as easy to sign up.

I stopped using Drizly and use Downtown Spirits as my go to app now! Good selection, prices and on-time delivery!

Downtown sprits has been my go to for various poisons. They helped me find a rare bottle of
Bruichladdich Black Art, they also have an amazing wine selection. The free deliveries with the CO-OP membership are always fast and hassle free! 20/10 would recommend
