Thanks so much for the great feedback. We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying the new app, especially the custom threshold notifications feature. A huge amount of work went into rebuilding the DPIRD Weather Stations app, so it’s fantastic to know the improvements are making a difference. If you know others who may find the app valuable, we’d really appreciate you sharing it with them. Thanks again for your support!

Thanks for the great feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you found the solar irradiance data useful for calculating local UV conditions more accurately. We’d also encourage you to check out the new DPIRD Weather Stations app, which includes a range of new and improved features, including interactive maps, personalised dashboards, historical data downloads, forecasts, alerts, and much more. Thanks again for your support and for taking the time to share your experience.
New app is horrible.
Response from developer
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how frustrating that experience would have been, particularly if stations were not loading correctly. At the time, this version of the app was an interim rebuild while we worked on a much larger redevelopment of the platform. Since then, the DPIRD Weather Stations app has been rebuilt from the ground up, with many of the most requested features now included, such as: • Interactive maps with radar overlays • Favourite stations and personalised dashboards • Historical weather data downloads • Improved performance and reliability • Forecasts, alerts, and expanded station insights A major focus of the redevelopment has been stability and usability, especially for users relying on the app in the field. We genuinely appreciate feedback like yours, as it helped shape the direction of the new app. If you haven’t used it recently, we’d encourage you to give the latest version a try.

Thanks for your feedback. We understand how important the interactive map was for many farmers and industry users, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know. The good news is that the new DPIRD Weather Stations app now includes an interactive map experience with station search, radar overlays, and timeline playback, alongside a range of other new features and improvements. The app has been rebuilt from the ground up based on user feedback, with a strong focus on making weather information faster, easier, and more useful in the field. We’d encourage you to give the latest version a try and let us know what you think.

The good news is that the new DPIRD Weather Stations app now includes many of the features you mentioned, including: • Historical weather data downloads • Favourite stations and personalised dashboards • An interactive map with radar overlays and station search • Forecasts, alerts, and much more We’ve put a huge focus on improving performance, usability, and functionality based on feedback from users like yourself. If you haven’t checked it out recently, we’d encourage you to give the latest version a try. Your feedback genuinely helped shape the new app.
