Second time this app has really let me down
Football Guys have officially lost me as a customer. I hated it when they changed their app from a $5 purchase to a $10/mo subscription a few years ago, but I stomached it to use the custom mock drafts. Except now, despite having the app for the last couple weeks, I suddenly have to link some chrome extension before I’m allowed to use the app at all? The app does not run through Chrome, it’s its own thing so why is this being forced on us? I just wanted to do a mock draft, now I have no access unless I download something I don’t want. Also it apparently wants me to re-sync my leagues. They were synced just fine earlier today, but when I click that I’ve already synced them the app tells me I actually haven’t because I don’t have the chrome extension. Second time this company made a huge, inconvenient change with no warning for users. I didn’t even get to use it for the full month I paid for.
Not to mention these mock drafts have players going in wildly different spots than other platforms this year anyway. Why is Rachaad White going in the 11th on Sleeper but the 5th for Football Guys? That and their draft analyzer tool is broken too. Gives you the same percentage chances for playoffs no matter which letter grade you get or how you build your team. Fantasy Footballers just added a mock draft tool to their UDK app and Sleeper has custom mocks for free. No need to give this garbage company any of your money anymore

The Footballguys product and content itself changed this year, and the pricing change reflects the content on the entire site, not just the App. In regards to the copy and paste, it was the most cut and dry way to explain the changes to everyone quickly and not ignore them. While the Draft Dominator app is now only available as part of a Footballguys subscription, but that's as low as $9.99 a month. There's no minimum term. Not only do you get access to the Draft Dominator app for this price, though, but also the League Dominator app and all of the Footballguys website on any device you use. So while the price is slightly higher, we are providing significantly more! If you're only interested in the Draft Dominator, we would suggest a one-time monthly subscription just to cover your draft; there'd be no need to subscribe annually.
FFG Change in business plan
FFG draft dominator used to be for $10 if that’s all u wanted. Now FFG is forcing u to buy the Elite package ( with things I never use) for over $80 a year to use the complete draft dominator app for keeper leagues. FFG does a nice job with the football data and information but is getting top dollar for a lot of information that u can obtain elsewhere for free It’s a bit rich for the retired community and is no longer a good value for what they are asking.

Bad update
The thing this app had going for it was the free drafts that you could set keepers to as well. Now you make a terrible update that is way more complicated for no reason and I have to pay if I want past 5 rounds??? When I tried to do a draft the top players were all Qbs and no matter how many settings I changed the first two rounds were all qb’s. Will be deleting this app asap. What a shame.

Update is trash
They just had an update. The app is reworked and trash with the rankings not easy to navigate or use and you still can’t sync your ESPN leagues without a computer absolute waste of money in trash. What once was a great app for draft boards now is useless.

Great Tool for Fantasy Football
Draft Dominator is a great tool to use prior to and/or during your Fantasy Football draft. Lots of valuable info at your finger tips…. I use it and the FootballGuys web site every year
Throwing In the Towel
Been using the Football Guys subscription for 10 years. The app somehow gets worse every year and is extremely buggy. It gets frustrating trying to set lineups every week because it’s a 50/50 chance whether the rosters are syncing, even manually prompting it to.
The app doesn’t adjust based off your phone screen size and almost cuts words off from the top and bottom on my iPhone. That’s not the biggest deal, but the subscription and app are overpriced for what you’re getting — especially considering that they’ve significantly increased the cost over the years without upgrading the app features.
It’s mediocre at best. I’ve already upgraded my plan this year just so that I can continue *trying* to use the League Dominator but I won’t be renewing my subscription.

Great until this year
I’ve never played in a keeper league. Our draft was this afternoon so I put it on “real draft” and synced the league. This app was completely useless since it kept players as if the league was a keeper. Very disappointed in this, had to just close the app entirely since the top players couldn’t be put on the teams they were being drafted by.

Crashed out during a draft
I tried to use this to track my auction draft. In the 6th round. It wouldn’t let me go back and re enter a selection. Then it was saying all players were not available. Don’t pay for this app. Look elsewhere for reliable software.

I have used this app for several years at this point. To make things clear, I do like the app….but…issues are mounting year after year to the point where it’s time to consider different apps.
This years issue is importing your league setting specifically ESPN. You literally have to download an extension on your pc (chrome only) and log in through the site and sync. If you have any active antivirus or firewalls make sure to disable after install. Otherwise while you think the website is trying to sync with your league you are just sitting there waiting and nothing will ever happen. The app itself is useless to sync ESPN.
Previous years issues, app crashing in middle of draft. Syncing with updated player data (injuries, depth chart changes, trades) takes several days at times.
Year to year there seems to be a few more bugs. They should spend a little more time on the app quality.

This app has truly turned to garbage
I’ve paid every year, for years. Never again. It’s buggy, pulls incorrect information with no way to resolve. I’m 3 days from the draft, have paid for this tool and can’t use it.
Great app but one draw back
Have been using this app for years. It’s amazing. Coupled with footballguys content and information is a hand up on competition . However, and unfortunately, other websites and apps have surpassed it with the live draft sync feature. In slow drafts using this app is fine, but in live drafts manually inputting picks is very difficult and time consuming. Needs to be corrected

Worst app I’ve ever had
Complete waste of money. This is the worst app I’ve ever tried and it cost me $49 to find that out. Now I’m not even sure I cancel the subscription before next year. Nothing works correctly and it doesn’t help with live drafts. Avoid at all costs.
What happened man?
Have been using this app since the very beginning. It was great with some room for improvement when it first came out but has somehow gotten a little worse every year since…and really started fall off a cliff around the same time they changed all the podcast heading titles to click-bait. The behavior of other teams has become increasingly unrealistic and, far worse, the recommendation engine seems to be totally borked this year, maybe because it seems they’re trying to cram some AI functionality under the hood of this already groaning jalopy. With no settings changed from last year app now recommends drafting more qbs and TEs no matter how many I accrue. Just let it auto-complete from the third round (“using AI!”) and was presented with a team featuring five TEs and two Rbs. Please, I beg of you, stop trying to cram new stuff into this deeply flawed app and fix the basics.

Terrible workability this year
I have used this app for 5 years and always had a good experience. Now they try to force you into an annual subscription versus monthly and the app freezes and crashes while you try to navigate around that. Failed to pull in my leagues that I have managed with this account, again, for 5 years. Horrible experience, don’t waste your money

Please give this thing a makeover
I love Football Guys, but the Draft Dominator desperately needs live syncing functionality with every major provider, along with a UI refresh. The UI is unintuitive and visually / cognitively challenging to navigate, especially in the heat of the moment. If the draft moves too quickly, the host platform’s rankings vary significantly in order, or you make one mistake — panic time. Use a terrible host like CBS and it’s doubly frustrating. If you still plan on using this, practice multiple drafts with short pick times to prepare.
