Game Breaking Bug
I’m a fan of idle games. Dragon Up is a basic game in the genre. You follow a shallow plot to save dragons, using potions as a currency to level up and makes things faster. However, the core gameplay devolves into waiting to collect potions every 5 minutes and competing in frequent short competitions to see who is the most dedicated into opening the game every 5 minutes. This frequency is not idle at all and the lack of variety becomes stagnant fast. Worse, there are game breaking bugs where all progress in the game becomes frozen and never restarts. Looking into forums going back years, this is an old bug that was never fixed. I can’t recommend this game.

Event Bug
I was playing the event and then would come back to it noticing that I wasn’t getting coins. I had managed to get in the top 100 when it was working and after waking up to noticing that I wasn’t able to upgrade the hearts I wanted to and being out of the top 100 is hard to enjoy this game especially when you would earn a few rewards on top of the event rewards

Tutorial Went On Forever
The concept was very easy to grasp and I understood what to do within the first 2 minutes but the tutorial lasts another 45 minutes I am not even exaggerating
No events
I’ve been playing this game for a while, I love it! But it no longer has events available making the game joyless. I’ll def be back if events come back.
Could be an easy 5
This game could be an easy 5 stars. It’s super fun, cute, and I love it….. but they have one major bug that pops up every day or two at least once. It makes the game super frustrating because it will hault game play completely, and sometimes it can take hours before it unfreezes itself. The Dragon collecting will completely freeze if your dragons are automated and there isn’t anything you can do about it. I’m sure you could not automate your dragons but then you also won’t get very far. It was only happening on my main island but today it happened on my event making me get super behind and now I won’t get any rewards because it won’t fix itself. IF they can fix this bug, I will update my review to 5

Please fix that my automated dragon nests stop generating coins
Bugs.
My event has frozen for hours and earning zero after spending all my diamonds on upgrades. No issues until this. Is there a fix?

It is a super fun game!! No adds for me and super fun. I’ve never seen dragons so cute.
Fun idler, but….
I believe the game has gone into abandonware status. The same bug where all your automated dragons freeze up and stop producing still exists. I BELIEVE it’s a big that erroneously grants you a 4 hour time skip, as everytime the big has occurred, I’ve gained a large amount of gold, far more than I should have in the 10 mins since I’d last checked. It should also be noted the bug only occurs on automated dragons, manual collecting dragons still produce gold during that time, which is also what leads me to believe it’s a time skip bug, as time skips don’t include non-automated dragons into the calculation of total gold received. Lastly, it’s been months since I hit day 31 and I’m still getting the “more dragons coming soon”, which also leads me to believe this has sadly been abandoned. I truly hope that’s not the case as this game has a ton of potential to be one of the best idlers out there!

Essentially boring
But I got a glitch where my new day started with all my islands where they were instead of resetting. Which means not producing many hearts. I anticipate it will take several months to complete the “easy” heart bonus quest. It is all I have left and no other choices are being offered. But since it is boring I shouldn’t care. Sadly I do.

According to the faq deleting this app removes your save data. So why is it still there after deleting the app twice?

Don’t install this game unless you want to teach your children that life is random and your work means nothing. (That would be abuse. Don’t do that)
Glitches getting worse, losing items. Netflix chat help is no help. They took about 30 minutes before asking me what I had already told them, while I thought they were looking up the solution 🙄 & then we were disconnected.
Intuitive play, no instructions. You’re always moving forward, even when you don’t know what’s going on. Tap things and figure it out. (Bonus hearts at 25 & 50 & sometimes 10) This game has glitches, like sometimes the words and pictures don’t match. You don’t die, but sometimes lose things. Gameplay includes “starting over” when you level up. It also includes side-quest events which are similar to the main game, & feed rewards into the main game (when played effectively). A favourite feature of mine is that if you have already achieved a goal like “350 hearts for lava nest”, you will be awarded the prize for it when that goal comes up. Sweet little idler game as long as you don’t obsess about details & just play it, letting it do it’s thing once you automate nests - until you level up & have to automate them again. Mostly I find it peaceful, except when things are lost etc due to glitches/ poor programming.
