Swirling, Sipping, and Smiling Thanks to Drammer

As someone new to whisky, the Drammer app has been an excellent companion on my journey. It makes it incredibly easy to take tasting notes on the spot, which is perfect when you’re actually enjoying a dram rather than trying to remember details later. Adding bottles from my physical collection is quick and straightforward too, so everything I own is neatly organised in one place.

The app is clearly well cared for — it’s continually being updated, with bugs being reduced or removed regularly. On top of that, the developers are super friendly and supportive, which really shows in how the app keeps improving. Highly recommended for beginners and seasoned whisky fans alike. 🥃

Using it for more than one year. Finally a great app for whisky lovers. It allows me to keep track of the one I bought and the ones I’m craving for. Moreover, many interesting news and things to learn. Please continue the good work !

Excellent app

This is an excellent app for logging and maintaining a database of your whisky collection. Well worth the tiny quarterly subscription to eliminate ads and support the tiny dev team.

Very easy to use. Would like to see North American events and maybe more badges. But best app and worth the premium upgrade.

Arduous

Had high hopes but way to much work to add a new bottle to the collection…
1. Price…make it account based, not default to EUs
2. Once a country is selected, states/regions should automatically parse down to that countries regions, not the rest of the world.

I imagine if the bottles already been entered it’d be easier, but only met that one in four bottles.

Hi, the prices are EU based since it we don't have access to prices from other countries. You can select in the settings from which countries you want to see the price. We have over 45,000 bottles in our database. We can possibly have them all. You can always add missing bottles yourself. We can imagine that you find the steps to add a bottle too much work. However we want to be sure the bottle is not already there.

Unfortunately we can't control the amount of time an advertisement takes. However with the premium subscription you don't have any ads anymore.

Advertisement Bar In The Way

I cannot add anything to my collection because the advertisements bar is directly on top of the button to add to my collection so I cannot click it. Also, I cannot get to contact us in options because of the advertisement bar. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Buggy, slow and annoying

To easy to double add then a bug prevents removal. Adverts just too much and too long for what you need in the app making it painful to use. Subscription way too expensive for such a buggy app.

Ads ruin it.

It’s a great concept but the adds ruin the app. There is a banner add at the bottom that covers the button to add a whiskey to your collection. Because of this I am unable to add my collection.

Subscription model to avoid annoying advertising is way too expensive.

Unfortunately we can't cover all cost ourselves. Please keep in mind that the subscription is not mandatory. You can use Drammer without a paid subscription as well.

Great Whiskey App

I am dependent on keeping records of my purchases and tasting notes. I especially like the Excel downloads.

Great App For Organization

Great for keeping track of my purchases. I enjoy the app beyond just the organization but that is it’s real value. I use it consistently when looking for new Scotches or Whiskey to make sure I don’t have a bottle already sitting at home. Enjoy sharing the occasional moment and looking at reviews. Recommended for anyone collecting or exploring regularly.

Great app

Excellent app and even better support if something goes wrong eg unable to enter a new bottle for any reason. It’s always resolved quickly.
If you don’t like the ads (I can’t stand ads personally so I’ll happily pay to remove them) you can support the developer and remove them for a small money charge (much cheaper to pick the 3-monthly option).

Great APP for your collection

I actually love this app. Just had to learn a few things at first, but I got great service & quick results.
I just wish they could tell me what the bottle is worth, maybe with a few more members we can do this.

I understand your frustration, but I can't find any support email matching your name. We take all support requests seriously and can't imagine that we just told you we couldn't help. Our users add many bottles every day without any issues. Perhaps you found a bug. Unfortunately without any details we can't reproduce your situation and therefore can't help. Difficulties in adding whiskey not in database

I love this app to add all info on each one of my bottles until it comes time to add a bottle that’s not in Drammer’s database, even after following all the instructions to a “T” & even following up with the support team which was no help. If Drammer would try to add a bottle themselves they’re probably will find that it’s something simple instead of asking the customer to do all the work, I mean it takes time to enter all the information just for it to disappear or even worse a bottle added that is in there database; also would love to know what each bottle is worth.
