I am changing my review as I have grown to love this community. I was accused of art theft by @Wolfia88. They are a jerk. However the app is great to use and the community itself is amazing I love that it has brush adjustments. I came from an art app called spark that shut down and this one is even better than spark. If you get this app just know that the controls are hard to get used to. I use my hands for drawing so it’s especially hard. The art is good and for the most part the community is good. Just know that sometimes there may be some offensive art you need to report. Other times there are some not nice people, especially to people under 12. The app has no age restriction however people think that they can boss people around. I recommend if you are under 12 still get that app just don’t reveal your age and report hateful language as necessary. I hope this review is helpful.

The reviews from 1 year ago and further don’t fully cover how much this app has improved! I’ll have you know it is NOT like notes!! There is a whole community and I’ve made great friends here and memories I won’t ever forget (seriously I’m not being dramatic these people are incredible)!

this app is ok, but i don’t really use it that much because it has a lot of glitches, and it lacks a bunch of features. i bought it in the first place to stay connected with my friends after my old drawing platform shut down, and it’s ok for that. but there are just a lot of features that aren’t my favorite.
one of the things is that if you want to erase your drawing, you have to switch all of your brushes and colors because the eraser isn’t its own tool. And there also there isn’t a selection tool OR an eye dropper (unless you want to spend money on the eye dropper tool).
another thing is that this app is REALLY glitchy. And it’s just really hard to draw and do things with ease, because it’s always buffering and kicking me out of the app. something else is that the app isn’t really colorful or interesting, and the overall layout of it is just kind of depressing. and there aren’t any fun features or anything.
so overall, this is a good app for connecting with other artists and being creative, but i also think there are probably better platforms out there.

To glitchy
Hello I’m starsbeyondd on this app draw with me and my recently came from spark an app I used to use but I switched to this app and ever since then it’s been non stop glitchy! When I first joined I could not even draw it was Delayed and spaced when I drew but it wasn’t just me it was everyone who transferred here but after a couple of days it stoped, now it randomly kicks me off or it flags my art because of WORDS?! You know words is art..I mean words are called characters it’s art! And my art was flagged because it had two words written and I loved the drawing I made with it but no it got flagged even tho I have art that just has words that take up the whole paper but that doesn’t get flagged? Also I think when your art has been flagged you can’t post any inspiration or anything so I either have to delete my drawing I loved or not be able to post anymore inspiration and I have somebody waiting for my oc redraw but I can’t since it can’t be posted in my inspiration.draw with me app I don’t know who your team is but you need to get it together or get a BA (business analyst) also RETURN ALL MY DRAWINGS YOU FLAGGED FOR NO REASON.

It’s ok 😒
I would recommend this app it has a very nice community. My only complaints are in the inspiration part on your profile nothing shows up and this app is 12+ but so many people are making art that is not for 12+

I came from spark and have been getting hate every single day. I was accused of art theft by @Wolfia88 called vulgar names and swears. The app isn’t even that good either do NOT get this app you are just setting yourself up for abuse and harassment.
Don’t Download
It’s a terrible app. 😡 I’ve been drawing and I’ve seen people drawing inappropriate stuff and exposing different body parts. Do NOT download. If you want a good art app download “Sketchbook” instead 🤬🤬

It’s okay
The controls aren’t easy to get used to. I wish there was some sort of tutorial for people who are new to the app. Also, there is some inappropriate artwork, but the app is 13+, so I guess it’s not that bad….
Basic, unfun, unintuitive
Updated twice after it was released *5 years* ago, so I suppose it makes sense that it’s so utterly awful. No tutorial/orientation, and somehow what seems like basic, linear organization is confusing. Nothing creative about the presentation. It’s bizarre how such an unimaginative app not only attracts but apparently sustains a community of artists without a single feature optimized for art or community.

My draw with me experience
It’s a great app and a great way to rewind after a long day! 😊 Honestly I haven’t had any issues with the app. Recently, I’ve been trying to find good apps and then I found this one. I am happy to leave great reviews and I hope others have the same experience too.
