Crash-Crash-Crash

This used to be my favorite app but now it crashes after about ten minutes of drawing. I liked it because I enjoyed playing back my process. Sad face.

GLAD TO SEE THIS OFFERED AGAIN!

I used this years ago. It has some new features.
I noticed however that the resolution is probably 32 bit or less.
If you can update it to 64bit that would be great.
In the meantime I’ll pass and keep watching for updates

Great tool but stability issues

I was having great fun with this app even when it kept crashing and then I tried to delete a blank page. All the drawings I have done in the past few days disappeared. Thankfully I copied to my photo folder to share with friends so I might be able to get them back.
Also the offer to backup to a Dropbox seems out of date.

Great for the price

I used the free version of this app for a long time then decided to spring for the β€œpro” version. I do miss some of the effects that were available from the free version, but this one has great features.

Buggy

My favourite part was when it deleted everything I'd drawn, including anything I had saved.

Fun, accurate and engaging

A standout among drawing and painting apps.

Good app

Fun

Great painting and drawing app

Got totally immersed in this wonderful app. Fantastic!

.drawing box pro

I was having problems with The basic version however I upgraded to the pro version and no problems it works well with Apple pencil

Good but needs a better icon!

I'm still working through the manual but already this app won me over with its blending tool which is hard to come by in iOS art apps for some reason. My biggest request for art apps, especially now with the Apple Pencil, is that it replicates as well as possible real world media. Most art apps' blenders just push the paint around, "smudging" they call it. Doesn't help me if I want to mix colors.
My one request at the moment though with Drawing Box is a rethink of the icon. Way too amateurish for what's inside. This app deserves a more polished simpler design. It'll attract more users that way too.
Keep your eye on this one!

Nice app

I have just started to learn to draw and so far like this app it's fairly easy to use. I am still learning how to work with each brush and pencil and the pressure I need to apply for the look I want. Over all I like this app and would recommend it.

Quite Good, but oils and watercolour lack realism...

... and it doesn't support Adonit Jot or Wacom Intuos Creative (or indeed any stylus other than Apple Pencil).

If you don't mind the unrealistic paint tools and lack of stylus support, it's quite a capable art app with some good features, and definitely worth a look. Artrage and Art Set Pro have much more realistic paint tools though, if that's what you're looking for.

Freeing

So far,I have to say that I have been able to do whatever I have tried to accomplish with my creativity. Thanks for the fun.

PRO BOX

GREAT PROGRAM, but not as easy to use as the computer art programs. Lost my first set of books and had too start over. Fair amount of learning needed to be done to get the program to work for you. Wish it was more like the Wacom tablet but iPad is still new at this.

Excellent!

I rarely rate or write reviews but this app has won my heart quickly. Like others have said Procreate is great but the fluidity and the feel of the pencil strokes is incredible in this app. Pure joy! Well done. I hope this app will continue to amaze

Best drawing app

There's a lot of features & drawing tools to make anything you draw look beautiful & more realistic. You can draw with a pen or paints just to name a few. I like how you can make the colors darker & lighter, depending on the pressure. You can choose a pre-picked color or pick your own from the color wheel. You can add texture to your art or you can add layers for more depth

Just want to sketch .....?

..... and have fun with a realistic sketching tool? This is it.
I LOVE Procreate, but one minute trying out the free version was all I needed. Then I paid the Β£2.99 to get a stunning and surprisingly versatile sketching app.
Using it is a joy. I often want to just lay down lines and make shapes. This does that and more in a wonderful, refreshingly simple manner which brings to mind doodling when I was younger - but brought up to date.
Is it a competitor to Procreate? Of course not, and nor does it try to be. It is what it is: a simply brilliant sketching, colouring and painting app.
The fluidity of the the line drawing is second to NONE.
In one word, perfect.

Good drawing app

The app is good. I like the brushes a lot and the thing I like most about this app is the colors. Somehow I seem to like them a lot so I'll definitely be trying out a few things with this app.

Great app

This is such a great app with a fantastic sketching pencil tool.
I really love this app and would love to give it 5 stars but because there is no support, no forum and lack of very important tools like moving tool as an example I gave it 3 stars.

Quite good

I've got numerous drawing apps on my iPad Pro. I use the I pencil in combination with this great drawing app. The only issue I have found is that occasionally when zooming in or out while drawing with pencil I get a unintended line from where my fingers were . This app has proven to produce excellent results . The drawings look just as if they were drawn on paper using a lead pencil. I have not experimented yet with the painting or inking tools because that's not my area. But I prefer this app over the others I have that I maid more for. This app deserves more attention than it has received . I hope the issue with the line gets addressed. It is pretty easy to hit undo and have it be gone though.
