Review

I honestly thought it was good at the start but then like a week after it will not let me in the app so for me I do not know what my personal wants so I am not very impressed with this.

Great. But a waste of storage

Abhorrent waste of time.

I used this app for 4 years for secret Santa at work, school, with friends and family. But this year I’m so let down.

None of us use it anymore. Because whenever we use it, it kicks us off the app. Also, it says it doesn’t recognise our celebration!!!

There are over two dozen of us and we all got kicked off!?!!?

FAQ

What does the drawnames app do?

The drawnames app simplifies the process of organizing gift exchanges, such as Secret Santa, for any occasion. It allows you to create groups, set exclusions between participants, manage personal wish lists, and generate name draws. The app also provides gift inspiration and suggestions to help users find the perfect present.

How do I set up a gift exchange?

Setting up a gift exchange is easy. You create a group, set a budget and gift exchange date, and add participants. You can then set exclusions to prevent unwanted pairings. Finally, you draw names, and participants can create their wish lists and choose gifts for others in the group.

Is there a cost to use the app?

The app is free to download and use, with no account required to start organizing. While the core functionality is free, there may be in-app purchases available for additional features or services, though the description does not specify these.

Can people who don't have the app join my gift exchange?

Yes, the app is cross-device compatible and allows you to invite people to join your Secret Santa through various messaging apps, text, or email. Participants can join and participate even if they prefer not to download the app, using a web browser on their mobile phone, tablet, or computer.

What occasions is this app suitable for?

This app is flexible for any occasion. While it's perfect for Christmas, it's also great for organizing gift exchanges and creating wish lists for Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Eid, birthdays, baby showers, Valentine's Day, or any other celebration where gift-giving is involved.
