Doesn’t work
If I use a MAC address to create the network the app crashes, with a MAC address authentication fails. Totally useless in this day and age.

Seems to need an update
This seems to work well on my iOS 12 iPad but has problems on my iOS 17 phone. Perhaps it needs an update?

Worked fine up until the last update, now just constantly crashing. Avoid!

This app consumed too much of my time trying to get working only to discover that what it actually did had no value at all. Stick to the web interface.
Doesn’t work on iPadOS 17
Was ok, but a little temperamental on 16 and lower. Just crashes on 17.

Used to work now useless
A couple of year ago this app would let you view the status of your mesh and make config changes. Now it does not even discover the networks that I run across the mesh. Either fix it Drayton or kill it!
Needs work
Unusable when trying to paste a password in when creating a network. Keyboard always pops up, tap hide keyboard and you can’t paste.
Such a shame it’s so buggy
I purchased a DrayTek router in 2021 to replace my sky FTTP router, after a lot of messing about I finally got it stable, DrayTek customer support couldn’t help with this at all, as FTTP was quite new and they said they haven’t done it before.
Then I purchased a wireless extender DrayTek 802, the instructions encouraged me to download this app to quickly set it up through the supplied QR code. As a quick summary, the app is useless.
The app won’t find the 802 in a search unless you alter settings that aren’t in the instructions, it also can’t help you set up the 802 in this scenario as it is so limited in its capabilities.
I won’t go on any further as im sure the above explains all, but basically you need to ditch the app and the instructions and do your own thing to get it work.

Plugged it in. Scan qr code Doesn’t connect. No advice on the app on what to do next. Need to make this idiot proof. Will just set it up manually.
What about all other Draytek APs?
I understand is for mesh models only but the app should include configuration, monitoring and accessibility of all types of Draytek APs in a network, and business wise for anyone who wants to consider having a full Draytek mixed AP environment which is common for indoor/outdoor combined scenarios, mainly with the 910C model. Or at least visualization to begin with, which isn’t the case either. I’m a Draytek fan!! So, looking forward to it.
