Dream POS

The Dream POS is the staff app for The Dream Society, a community-owned non-profit music venue in Penticton, British Columbia. It is used by our volunteers on shift. It requires a Dream Society account and an approved volunteer role — it is not a consumer app, and there is nothing in it for the general public. Everything a volunteer needs on shift, in one place: DOOR Sell tickets at the door, scan tickets for check-in, and see at a glance how many are sold, how many have arrived, and how many are still to come. BAR AND KITCHEN Open a tab, add to it through the night, and settle it when the customer leaves. On iPad, the kitchen board sits alongside the app: orders arrive in Waiting, move to In Progress when someone picks them up, and clear to Completed when they're made — so the bar and the kitchen are looking at the same board. SERVICE Servers see what's ready to run, which table it goes to, and whether there's still money to collect when they hand it over. PAYMENT Accept physical debit and credit cards as well as Apple Pay and other digital wallets. Right on your iPhone. Payment can also be taken on a countertop card reader, by cash, or by card on file. Tap to Pay on iPhone requires iPhone XS or later and the latest iOS version. MEMBERSHIPS AND DONATIONS Sign someone up as a member or take a donation at the door, without leaving the queue. The Dream Society is a registered non-profit. Every volunteer hour and every dollar taken through this app goes to keeping live music on stage at 67 Front Street.
