I love this practical app and have used it to check timelines and see longevity of goals, etc. way more than I thought I would.
However, it needs an “end date”. For example, I set a date the day I moved to Europe, and when I move back to the US in a few months I want to be able to close that date so I know an exact date of how long I lived abroad. I don’t want that date to continue to count up, I want to be able to stop it and save it. Add this feature please!

Easy 5 stars IF...
First, the biggest reason to buy the app: adding one event in the past and setting it to repeat creates both a count DOWN to the next occurrence AND a count UP indicating days since the event. Worth the dollar. Awesome job.

...the WatchOS app actually works (despite all troubleshooting, the app on my Apple Watch consistently displays a blank screen)
...There’s search functionality (lots of scrolling looking for that specific one!)
... There’s the ability to separate count DOWNs for future events from the count UPs for days since
... birthdays/anniversaries tell you which one is coming up next (your nth anniversary)

Love it!
I initially got this app to use for birthday and anniversary reminders, but now have my pending retirement date(s) saved. I listed my 50th birthday since that’s the earliest I can retire, but also added other dates that I may want to retire if I choose to work past my 50th birthday. If you haven’t noticed, I’m very excited about retirement!!

Countdown to Retirement!
I’ve had this app for a couple of years & I tell everyone about it when they laugh as I talk about my countdown to retirement app - then they love it & ask what it’s called so they can get it too!...I’ve added other countdowns but retirement is my favorite!!!
Almost a great app.
I really want to love this app, but it doesn’t deliver on everything it promises.
Specifically, I want to display some countdowns in hours/minutes/seconds and I can’t. I have two events next week and it does not allow me to tap-toggle different view options, it just displays the number of days.
On events further than a week, it only offers two options—number of days or number of months and days. No hours. :(

The former default now costs extra...
I got this countdown app because I really liked the look of the countdowns. The most recent update changed the look. The old look is still available BUT FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST. Why would you change the default and then CHARGE for the design that was there when I got the app? It now looks boxy, off center, and ugly. I really just wanted a countdown app that looked pretty so I could share it and put it in collages. Looks like I will be on the hunt for a new one.

Has potential to be something greater
I love the recent redesign, however I think there is potential with the app for more features such as manually sorting goals or achievements as fixed blocks on the screen. That way you can choose what is going to be on your home screen next. Another cool feature would be to sort events by date, so no matter whether your counting up or down, the events will be in chronological order to celebrate a past experience or engage in a new experience. It would also be cool to choose whether to see the time since the events occured or until it occurs in years with a decimal (ie 2.3 years) or hours (ie 46hrs 25min). Overall though a beautifully designed app.

This app is so good because you can simply go check how much day,months or even years until it's the day. You even get to put a cute picture in the back round that makes it even more exciting.🎉check it out and she what you can do!!
Great app (but I hate the new layout)!!
I downloaded the app a couple of months ago (& upgraded to ad-free - so worth it!), since I have a couple of upcoming trips I'm looking forward to. I love being able to customize the background for each countdown - and being able to save a day's screenshot to my camera roll to send to my fellow travelers to get them excited!
If I could change one thing - and it's tiny - I wouldn't have designed the opening screen to show ALL upcoming trip dates (they kinda block the screen). But that's a tiny tweak that perhaps the designers will change in an update. Overall - I love it!
UPDATE: I REALLY DON'T LIKE the new interface. :( The old one was beautiful and delicate -- the new font and layout look clunky and old-fashioned. The thick font is stuffed into a corner of the picture and these weird boxes for upcoming events intrude at the bottom of the screen. BRING BACK THE OLD DREAMDAYS LAYOUT!!!

Feature request
The new update does make it easier to read the information. Thanks. In the previous version, you could swipe up and see all timers. In this version you need to scroll left/right and can only view 3 at a time. Would it be possible to have the option in settings to do either one? Having the ability to view all timers was very beneficial.

Great app.
When something important is about to happen, we tend to count down minutes, hour, day and month to desired moment. With this app you can easily find out how many days left until event or anniversary...This app is one of best apps I've used. It is definitely a must have for anyone.
A must have app
This app is essential for me. It helps me alot to customizable background for each event that i take part in and remind me not to miss important anniversaries. I also can share my joy with friends on facebook thanks to this wonderful app. I will use this app more frequently.
A single in app purchase kinda ruined this whole experience for me
The app runs pretty smoothly, and the offer different options like counting down the days until an event or counting up the days since you’ve decided to do something different in your life.
The only real issue I had with this is the in app purchase I made which felt really unnecessary and really had no place in this simple app which we already have to pay a dollar for. I purchased the different backgrounds that you may choose instead of just looking at the default photo or uploading my own. I basically paid another dollar for a bunch of stock photos that aren’t even going to be completely put to use. Some of them are too wide and when I try to make them a background for my event it’s super zoomed in and doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing anymore.
I just feel like micro transactions don’t have a place in this app and putting them in here makes the app feel like a money milker.

This is great!
Dreamdays not only makes sure I know what’s coming up it let’s me do it in style. The only thing I don’t really enjoy is all the fake events when you first download it. I know those are just to show you what it looks like but still. I love this app and I’m glad I have it. Five out of five stars!
This App is not what it Pretends to be😡
I made the decision to purchase this app by some of the reviews I had seen also by what the app actually says it does. I created a count down for a trip I am going on with my best friend, It gives you the option to share it on other accounts so I did......It posted just fine the thing that was not fine was if anyone wants to see what you are planning they have to down load the app and pay!!! Which is crap. Plus you have to pay to for back grounds!

If you forgot things, you must install it
I always forgot business meetings and always write notes but many times miss them. So its best to have a great app like this , which countdown the time and remind you for meetings, events , all important things you need to do. I have recommend it to many peoples , so i also highly recommend also to you. You must use it like a reminder app, very easy to use , great theme.

Great app ever!!
Finding an useful reminder app for so long, finally got one which support countdown to event and continue up once they arrive. I'm a person who easy to forget stuff so this app is actually savor who remind me everything and unlike other app which didn't have the ability to sort events by time. What I found useful is that this app is come up with passcode protection which keep my stuff privacy and safe.

Custom Photos Lost!
Got prompted about an update and decided to upgrade. Had to pay for the app update and it didn't overwrite the previous version now I have 2 of the same apps! Slightly different look but exact same functionality and after the backup none of my custom photos were included in the backup nor transferred to the new app or other devices!!! So I have to manually edit the apps and all my 20 countdowns in each device! Super annoying and feel like I just wasted my time and money!!!! Grr

Great Countdown App! But....
After trying several different countdown apps, this is the only one that let me customize what I wanted, while still offering a streamlined look.
However, having to pay for backgrounds from the internet is silly & creating new apps rather than just updating the old versions is not my favorite business model. I shouldn't have to buy a new version every time.
