Soothing

I have used white noise of some kind for the last 5+ years. I started off using a cheap sound machine thinking they are all created equal. Then I tried this app. The sound quality is far superior and brings you into the moment. I like a lot of depth to my white noise and the sounds on Dreamear delivers. I live in the WA, it rains a lot here - but we don’t get strong rain storms like back east where I grew up. The sound “Car Heavy Rain - Long Island” feels like a childhood blanket wrapped around me easing me to sleep. I see myself using this app for many years to come.

Terrible

How is this app supposed to help you relax when there’s an advertisement every twenty seconds pausing the sounds? This app is terrible

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Currently, the first 3 soundscapes are free and the rest are locked unless you subscribe. The locked soundcapes have a short preview before the store screen pops up and stops the audio, we don't have any ads in Dreamear. I can understand your frustration but please know that subscriptions to our apps are how we are able to pay for expenses such as server costs and field recording equipment. If you're interested in more soundscapes we have over 60 available for free in on our app Travelear: Listen to the World. Excellent Quality.

This is the best app for quality natural sound that I’ve found. It was recorded in the field with great care by actual audio engineers using state of the art binary microphones. I take breaks whenever needed using my best headphones. I’ll quickly be transported to the rainy pine forests of Oregon, or the thundery coastline in the tropics. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for the finest audio quality.

The best way to fall asleep-

I LOVE THIS APP! If you are having trouble falling asleep this app is the cure. Thunder Beach is my absolute favorite sound. I love falling asleep to the rain and when I can’t be home the sound of rain at the beach is my home away from home.

Great App!

I use it when I have to be up early but can’t quiet fall asleep while laying in bed. It helps me relax and transports me to a place of my choosing!
