What's New in DrillShot
1.1.0
October 24, 2026
DrillShot 1.1.0 GEAR & LOADOUTS - the headline - My Gear: keep your guns and their magazines on your profile. Add a gun, add its mags by capacity and count ("3 x 22rd"), download a mag below capacity. A magazine belongs to one gun and is only offered for that gun. - Loadouts at drill setup: pick a gun, choose which mags you're carrying and how many rounds are in each. The drill's round count and reload points come from that. - Reloads where the gun actually runs dry - a forced reload at every magazine boundary in Standard and Bill drills. A boundary that lands inside a multi-shot string reloads at the end of the previous string, so you're never asked to fire rounds you don't have. (Qualification fires a random number of shots each interval, so it places no reload cues - reload when you run dry.) - Set your own reload par time. It was a fixed 3 seconds; it's still 3 seconds until you change it. - Quick Start knows what you're carrying: presets are filtered by your loadout as well as your target, and each one that doesn't fit says why. - Your history records the gun and mags a run was fired with, and still reads correctly after you rename or delete that gear. - A new Reload rung on the Training Path: four shots, swap magazines, four more, with a wider window for a first magazine change. Free, like the rest of the ladder. ALSO NEW - An IDPA-style points-down target (0 / 1 / 3 down), recognized by the AI scanner regardless of paper color. - What the drill called vs what you shot: the aim call is now recorded per shot, so a body hit when the drill called HEAD is no longer indistinguishable from a head hit. - Per-shot zone labels in the log, so "head 0-down" and "body 0-down" are told apart. - Custom Drill Match standings: a multi-shooter match now ends on a summary with per-leg scores and a winner. - A Bill Drill can require a reload between strings. - The in-app manual and About screen now describe gear, the Training Path, and the real free-tier limits. FIXED - Removed the 301 "Score from Photo" button that always fell through to manual entry. - The Drill screen's overflow menu is reachable with VoiceOver again. - Quick Draw's card said 15 rounds; the drill runs 10. All Quick Start subtitles are now derived from the drill itself, so they can't drift again. - My Gear's inline inputs no longer sit under the keyboard.
