Very useful app
Especially since none of the main cocktail books are indexed well enough to answer questions like ‘what can I make with lemon and bourbon’ or ‘what are all the drinks in here that use Campari’. I’d love to see the new Death & Co book (Welcome Home) added to the lineup here.
Steer clear. Don’t upgrade to PRO
This app is only helpful as a reminder of which book you read a drink recipe in. That’s it. The upgrade to PRO is not worth it at all. It gets hung up searching for basic ingredients. It shows no measurements for The Drunken Botanist recipes even after upgrading. The design looks like it came out of a “learn to make your own app” starter pack. There is no copy about the origins of the drinks or tasting notes. This app is halfhearted in almost every way. Steer clear.

Good but not….
I’m a good bartender and I’ve spent a lot of time reading the staples (Regarding Cocktails, Cocktail Codex, Death & Co., etc.) and really care about the craft. While this app is a great reference for ingredients it doesn’t tell you how to build ANY of the cocktails - literally zero of them. It doesn’t tell you if they’re shaken, stirred or built in a glass. I might as well use Google.

Takes your $6 and crashes
The free version of the app was great. When I upgraded to “pro,” it charged me and then crashed. Every time I go through the process it crashes, and doesn’t remember that I subscribed. I even tried reinstalling. Took my money though.

Hi there. I'm terribly sorry you had this experience. Apple has been slow to approve our new in app purchase, even though it is live in the app (not the ideal process I know).
