Quit breaking things
I’ve used this for years. It use to work but now is broken. Supposed to default the next trip start with the last location and mileage. Stopped putting in the last location. Now the mileage has to be reset from 000000 every time. Stop breaking things!
Great Little App
So simple to use. Does everything I want it to do: track kms and expenses.
You can customise the UI so that if you don’t like scroll wheels for entering numbers you can change it.
I’ve been using it for over a year now and it’s fantastic.
The only thing it’s missing is integration with QuickBooks account keeping software. If it did that, it’d get five stars.

The best I have tried
I have been using this app for 4 years and I have been very happy with this app, it does exactly what it is suppose to do.
I have tried other log book apps but most fall short in performance.
There would be 2 things I would like to see on this app, some kind of indication that the app is running and/or some indication that tells you that you have not moved for sometime so you have the opinion to turn it off. Sometimes I forget to turn it off and check my phone an hour later to see that I have used half my battery life!
The other thing would be an UI update, the style is a little old looking!

Great app! Needs to be updated.
I have used this app for years and suggested it to many friends. Simple and easy to use. Powerful and effective. But it needs to be updated. Version 1.4.4 does not support the screen size of the iPhone 5.

This is very good app and it delivers a simple to use consistent way of recording trips and expenses. After experimenting with many different apps this is the one that's stuck on my home screen.
Solid 5 Stars
So I think this is a solid five-star app. I don't know why so many people are grading it lower than that other than to say they haven't explored it enough. Go to settings please guys first to see all the functionality this app has, it's amazing how much functionality and usability and customization this app has. It does have GPS navigation but you have to turn it on first. Although of course with an iPod Touch it will not work unless you're carrying a mobile Wi-Fi router with you. This app is by far the best mileage and vehicle expense logging app out there and well worth the asking price. I kid you not, I rarely pay more than $1 for an app so paying $5 is way out of my normal behavior. But this app is so well designed, so complete, so well laid out I had to own it. Really guys, just look at the UI and see how well done it is compared to others. Very well done. Spend about 15 minutes in the settings page and set up all the different features and after that your going to agree with me, "This is a well worth the money and a solid performing application" really worth the money in my book and I'm happy I have it.

Bad support
I bought this app to be able to import my expenses data, because it has a 'backup' option. Developer refuse to help, even if I did it manually, and ask 130$ do do it! That is really not fair.
Will not show MPG
Bought this app because it said it would track MPG along with other expenses. But the Stats will not show MPGs.
GPS
Some can't seem to find GPS. Go to settings then trips. You have to turn it on there.
Where is GPS support?
First line of description is "with GPS support" but GPS is nowhere to be found in the manual or the menus. Is this a lie or an oversight?
never failed me
i use this app every day for like a year now. It does the job. It crashed once a couple months ago while i was driving. Hitted the app button. The gps was still on, the milleage was ajusted automatically.
Could use new feature in future update tho. When i need to go to a new destination, the app save a list of the previous place i typed. It takes longer to scroll down and pick up a place then typing it again. Would be better if the app would finish the word i start to type. ( if i type O it would suggest me Office).

Needs a Backup/Restore Function
I like this app as it helps me to record my business travel usage; however, it definitely needs some kind of backup/restore function. There is no point saving important information for tax reporting purposes only to find that something crashes and none of the data has been backed up. I realize that it is possible to send reports to an email address on a fairly regular basis, but a backup function would definitely make this app 5 stars. Please include this on the next update!

Drivers Log
Good app for recording business & personal trips as well as recording expenses; would be nice though if when exporting as .CSV file you could do a combined report of business, personal and expenses together; if you could it would be a 5 star app

Alright; needs fix on round trip. For $9 you'd think it would be done already
Concerning how most reviews on this app are from the same person.........Only just started using it and noticed a flaw!! 'Round trip' function needs to work properly; currently it only calculates the km's travelled on one leg of the trip and doesn't factor in the return trip. I have entered in the details of the start location, end location and the distance travelled to get there. If I have selected 'round trip', the app should then calculate that a return trip was done with the same kilometres and add that to the total trip distance. Right now, if I travel 10km to the destination and 10km back, I put in my odometer reading into 'round trip' and it still says i've travelled only 10km in the report!!!!
Basically, fix it so that you enter in one leg of the trip only (as the return leg will obviously be the same if it is a round trip) and the app does the rest of the calculation for you. No hassle and getting close to 5 star!

Worth the investment
This program handles the requirements of log book entry well. Metric & imperial units available. Intuative, good structure, well thought out and useful. Would like to see a backup function as the data collected has value and should be backed up for tax during the sync process. Being able to pull archived data back into the program would be useful as well as having value if you iPhone failed. Pulling up sync data to a replacement iPhone device would mean minimal data loss.
Having said that this is the best auto log book application for the iPhone I have tried so far.
I stopped looking for alternatives and use this one full time now.
I believe the layout is superior and only lacks a back up option. So I'll continue to use this app and wait for the update that includes this backup sync option in the mean time.
