Disappointing and unreliable.
The DriveScore app has been really disappointing. The scores don’t seem accurate or consistent, and the app doesn’t always seem to match the actual speed limits on the roads. So you get marked as speeding, (It though it was in a 50mph on the motorway. It also flags distractions that aren’t accurate,
Example, it has identified several phone distractions when my phone was in either my pocket or my bag.
I had a cornering warning on a straight road. On top of that, the app drains my phone battery about 30% when sat in the background. This happens on days when I haven’t been near a vehicle. Overall, I find it unreliable and difficult to trust, and it needs some serious improvement.

Not so Good/Safe
In a world where people push to speed or stop almost instantly or cut in front. Driving to get the good score could land you in trouble easy. I am a IAMRoadSmart Advanfed Driver and very safe. But safety teaches you when getting on a motorway joining slow as we have all seen is very dangerous but getting up to speed is extremely important. If you’re behind someone you need to accelerate to get to a safe place and that is just one example. I actually got a good score and just on two breaking points on two drives. And that is my car being safe as it’s one of the safest cars on the road.
