Can’t get signed in

I downloaded this and in the very first stage it always stops at checking…resources. 😡. I can’t even get into gameplay. I tried deleting and redownloading over and over and over and over again but it still doesn’t work. Don’t know if it’s my iPad mini or a bug from the game! 😤😠😡
