The best dash cam app I have ever used.
Not ready for prime time
I selected this because the writeup said it had a loop recording--none of the other dash cam apps I was looking at said this outright. This means that you record a continuous 3, 5 or 10 minute segment, with the earliest parts of each segment always being overwritten to save memory. I set it for 3 minutes. However, on several tries, the whole app stopped at 3 minutes, and returned me to my iPhone 6 (I'm on iOS 8.0.2) home screen. Essentially, it crashed.
Moreover,when I checked the list of recordings, there was nothing on the list screen, even though it said that some memory had been used for the recording.
There's also a camera button on the screen when the app is active, to allow you to take photographs of the moment. However, after my test, after I had taken two or three photographs, they were not in my camera roll.
I had had high hopes for the app. It doesn't have too many bells and whistles, which is what I wanted. There's a temperature readout, collision notification, and a map inset (in my test, this wasn't giving a clear readout).
I'm willing to give the developer the benefit of the doubt, and I hope that the next upgrade will bring everything up to snuff. In the meantime, this app is not ready for prime time.
