The developers, Altitude Angel went bust many months ago. This app was superb but is now dangerously out of date. IF YOU RELY ON IT YOU WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY BREAK THE LAW. IT SHOULD NOT BE ON THE APP STORE!!!!!!

I’ve been using this app since I started flying my drone. I greatly value the technical information that this app gives and the ability to share my flying activity with those around me. It will be very sad if this app is no longer available because there is nothing quite like it.

Don't use this app
Altitude Angel, whose app this was, went out of business October 2025, and the app has had no new information provided since, though NOTAMs &c submitted to AA while they were stoll update, so it LOOKS as if the app is 'live'. It's not, it's a zombie, and the CAA recommend not using it, but, because it's parent went out of business, there is nobody to take it down. Nothing is being done about this!
I repeat, DO NOT FLY USING INFORMATION FROM THIS APP. It is your responsibility as the pilot to confirm that you are able to fly in any given airspace at any given time, and you will not be able to use DA's outdated information as an excuse if you are brought to book for infringing a m FRZ or NOTAM not shown on it!

Can’t see the whole screen
The app is ok but why can I not see the whole screen on my phone? Is it optimised for an iPad? It’s stretched and I can’t see the information on the right hand side, frustrating
Register but no email code.
Can’t log in for first time because I never get an email with the verification code. Tried many times.

The best drone app in the world
Drone Assist has to be by far the best airspace and safety app in the world for people serious about the hobby as well as commercial users. It’s an absolute must to ensure safe flying, letting others know where and when you are flying, it’s absolutely fantastic and anyone that flies drones this is a must. Really appreciate the app, thank you.

Rubbish
Had this for less than 3 mins. Total load of rubbish of no use whatsoever to anyone learning. No explanations no help at all.

Great flight planning software
Drone Assist works great and due to it using altitude angel’s system, you can get airspace alerts. Only thing is it takes a while to load your pilot info when you are using mobile data, other than that it works just as I would want.
