Love the app.

This is a nifty app to have. It helps me to stay on track with watering and fertilizing my plants ans I love the alerts. It’s no longer feels as overwhelming of a chore and I enjoy the care of my plants a whole lot more. I would only change one thing - that would be to add a way to “hibernate” a plant, and or to change it back to no longer needing to be watered or fertilized on schedule . Essentially if I wanted to stop the care of a plant I would have to delete it all together but it’d be great to just “hibernate” it, or “store” it.

Update: Avery actually responded to my email (within an hour at that!!! ) and updated me on the fact that you actually can delete fertilizing and watering schedules. For anyone wondering you simply go to the plant and act like you’re about to change the schedule, and a small X will appear next to the current setting – so where it says every two days for example, already. If you click that it will cancel that out!

This app is perfection now 🥰😍🪻

Useless

Completely usless app. Avoid as it provides no tips on when to water or fertilize

Really great app

When you have a lot of plants, the watering schedule gets a bit complex. Droplet solves that after you do the work on the front end setting up each plant. It’s a simple concept, tracking multiple day counts, but you can add so much data and photos that it also becomes a really great snapshot of your collection. Good for tracking growth progress of each plant, too… much like school photos:)

I would like slightly more functionality, though, like an option to log water and fertilizer with one click, rather than individually like you have to now when you tend to a plant… but over all, I really dig this app.

Almost perfect

Useful app. You can update your photos of your plants but it doesn’t keep the previous photo taken. If the app kept a history of the plant photos, it could keep a visual track of the plants’ progression then the app would be perfect.

Nice interface

It’s a very pretty design! Enjoying it more and more!

Beautiful app but could be better

I've tried one other plant app that had many more smart features like light meters, plant care, plant identifications, etc. But this was the first I've tried and I like it slightly more. I like that you can nickname your plants and that I can feature my own photos. I use it more of a way to monitor and have a nice plant diary. I wish I could add a more robust description (paragraphs, bullet points, etc) and add notes like I can add photos. If I had these features, this app would be perfect for my needs.

Great app to keep track of plants

This is not one of those 100 apps out there that identify a plant for you. This app is an excellent app to help you keep track of the plants you have and when to give them some love.

The app is simple to use and easy to learn. Great tagging system. I use this app as a field note to keep track of plants I see. I’d have to do some digging to identify unknown plants but that’s how you learn.

It works...but

I’d give it 5 stars if it was free, but it’s literally just a calendar for your plants. You could just as easily add notes into your own calendar. It’s efficient, simple to use, cool that you can add photos. It would be better if it helped you identify your plants and gave you care advice based on submissions/other users information. Even if it offered advice based on the plants genes that you input would be a cool feature.

Reminders don’t work

This app is actively harmful; it tells you it will remind you on a watering schedule but then sets random dates way farther. For instance, a plant that needs weekly watering says it’s reminding me, but the next reminder is set for 21 days from now no matter what I do

Right Idea, Poor Execution

This app really doesn’t do anything more than display pictures and names I’ve given to my plants. The description of this app makes it sound like an effective way to remind yourself about watering and fertilizing your plants. Unfortunately, this app does a really poor job of sending reminders. They almost always get buried by text messages and any other notifications you might have on your phone. There is no repeat or loud alarm. If you miss the alert thats it for the week. Lastly, there are really no distinguishing features that make this app worth downloading, let alone pay for!? Really disappointing...

There’s much better plant care apps for free or less money

Not a fan, theres no plant care or even a plant name database to add from, i dont have time to google the correct spelling for each of my plants just to have to set up everything myself. The app should be smarter to create a basic watering schedule to start from. Id like a refund.

Same as others

I thought this was going to help identify my houseplants and then tell me often they needed to be watered and fertilized. I didn’t realize I was going to have to lookup all of this info on my own and enter it manually. I was excited about this but it’s really not much help.

Not what I thought it was

I thought there’d be some help with my houseplants within this app. It lets you inventory and keep track of watering and fertilizing schedules, but it doesn’t provide any information about the plant - there is no database. I have to go look up information and enter it in for each plant. Not as awesome as I though it was going to be.

Not bad but likes to crash

This app has promise but needs a bit of tweaking. The user experience isn’t the best. I do like how the plants are arranged in their own section and not as some huge annoying list. I think this app could be a problem solver if the ux issues and crashing get resolved. Adding a new plant is my biggest complaint. On a small mobile screen it can be frustrating to move the screen up when the keyboard is in the way, or to try and see the date picker. I think that experience needs improvement.

Neat app, needs some fine tuning

Overall, really great concept, but needs some fine tuning.

Would be nice to have a few more input sections rather than just "description".

Some of the UX/UI is clunky and not intuitive. For instance, editing the description, if you click the wrong place of the invisible bounding box, you back out of the editing option. Then you have to scroll up and click through several menu options to re-enable editing. Frustrating.

Adjusting the watering / fertilizing schedule is also kinda clunky. Took me a minute to figure out how to do it. Maybe using more symbols, like a pencil for edit rather than always a "..." menu would be helpful.

Overall, I don't like digging through menus to find what I need. I would prefer more symbols (applied in a sophisticated way) and gestures (like double tap to edit) to make the experience better.

Colors could be modernized, toned down, and used to guide the user through the app in a more seamlessly way.

Droplet

It will be fun to receive a notification to water.

Handy and easy to use

Within a few minutes I had setup some plants, pictures, a schedule and settings all within the app ! ChrisG

Wonderful!

This is a beautifully designed app, functional and intuitive. Great concept and wonderful artwork. Makes it a breeze to keep track of different watering schedules. And I love opening the app just to see photos of my beautiful plants!
