Impossible to cancel subscription and delete account

Review:
I attempted to delete my account, but the process was cumbersome and time-consuming. To proceed, you must manually delete each collection you've created, which involves typing the word "delete" for each one. This can be a lengthy process if you have numerous collections. After finally deleting all my collections as instructed, I was met with an error message stating that the response was unacceptable and I was una to delete my account.

Easy to use!

Only on the free account for now and finding the app a great alternative — ie replacement — to Pinterest. Looking forward to using the app more and eventually signing up for a solo account. Cheers!

5 years later - still using!

I've been using Dropmark for a little over five years now, I believe, and a new review is definitely needed! I use the app for a combination of things, primarily creative and personal bookmarking, but also for tracking work resources (I do freelance editing for writers), and it serves me well across all those areas and more. My main reason for sticking it out with Dropmark is the app's developers + customer service - app updates are regular and any time I've emailed with a question or a bug I've gotten quick and helpful responses. I think if they weren't quite so communicative it would make a significant difference in my dedication to the service—the iOS app can be buggy for my specific use case (text files often cause crashes) but knowing the devs are always trying to solve issues like that make me happy to work through the occasional kink.

If you need a solid visual bookmarking platform with a great deal of customization and features (even at the free level) then I can fully recommend Dropmark for the job! It's also incredibly useful for collaboration; among my friends I'm the only one with a Solo account but when we have shared projects, they're able to access the Solo features by virtue of me being the main owner of the collection. I think this is hugely beneficial because while *I* have a use for all the Solo features, my friends don't really need them outside of our shared work, and this way they've got one less expense but all the same accessibility.

I love Dropmark, but it's not working!

This pinboard rocks, i've been using it for years to create moodboards for art projects. But the extension on iPhone, when you click Share on a photo and click 'add to Dropmark' is not working in any app... it works occasionally and then stops. i've updated the app and everything, but if this part doesnt work i'm not sure of the useability of my favorite pinboard?

Changed my rating to better.

I love this app and was getting a ton of my info added in there. All of a sudden the app picture was black. I thought I would lose everything at that point and I left a negative review. The app popped back into action a few days later and I still had everything. The only thing I can think of is the app updated the day before and there was a glitch. So we are good now.

Dropmark is essential for organizing my inspiration

I’m a creative director and use Dropmark to capture inspiration, organize photographers, illustrators and directors and store references. It is like a much better cleaner version of Pinterest and a more visual version of Evernote. It’s an essential work tool.

Dont try to save anything here that goes against the socio liberal agenda. Got this yesterday, started adding bookmarks. And today, all bookmarks about coe vid and vack seens were deleted. Dont download unless you want your bookmarks to mysteriously go missing.

LOVE DROPMARK.

I've been using dropmark for years-- as a visual artist and researcher, it's an essential tool to organize all my research visually, in nice elegant squares, regardless of the media type. LOVE It-- i share research boards with collaborators and it works perfectly.

Try it!!

Great service. Regular updates, stable, flexible (supports several formats and has apps for all three Apple platforms and web access)

I wish it had a Safari extension.
That said....
The price is just a tad too much for me. I would like to organize Tabs, Group items into stacks and Unlimited Collections is desirable, but not mandatory for me. Organize by tags is definitely a must. The other features are cool, but I wouldn’t use them. The solo is perfect for Freelancers, but not for personal use. Should be Lite, Personal, Solo/Freelancer, Team, and Enterprise. I would pay 24 annually or 3 monthly for that.

This is my personal issue. The app is five stars.

I really enjoy the app but.....

I really enjoy the app and everything you can do with it, I’ve needed this in my life for a long time and so glad I have now found it! The only problem I’m having is sometimes when I go to add a photo to a collection it won’t add. I’ll try agin multiple times and go back on and off the app and photos still won’t add. They only add sometimes, which is really frustrating if this function could be fixed that would make it even better.

The best of a bunch

I’ve tried a bunch of bookmarking services and social bookmarking services over the years and Dropmark takes the cake. It’s so easy to create different moodboards of links and photos.

great service, app needs some work!

first of all i'm so glad i found dropmark - i collaborate on a lot of writing projects with a friend and we needed something like a mood board for a lot of our stuff but with more functionality than a lot of mood board apps out there. dropmark does literally everything we need and that's just at the free level. i'm thinking of upgrading to the personal pro for the tags and stacks features, but i'm hesitant to do so until the app works as well as the website does. i found that you can add picture thumbnails to text posts, which is great, but you can only do that on the website - and if you do it, it doesn't show up in the app. the post continues to just have a preview of the text for a thumbnail in the app. another issue is just how simplistic some of the app sections are; there are very few settings to mess with, and you can't click on a collaborator name to be taken to their dropmark page. i've also had a fair number of issues with crashes when trying to paste text, which according to the last version update history was resolved but i'm definitely experiencing that on this current version.

overall i love dropmark and it's already become a great resource for me, and i give the website itself a 5/5 for sure! the app though needs some work, but if it gets updated and it has the same wide functionality as the website does, ill be adding that last star and signing on for personal pro.

Requires an account

Launch to a screen that requires an account on a third party service. The app is nonfunctional without the account. No description of what the account is for or the privacy policy within the app. Is it a real app? No idea until you provide full name, user name, and a password.
