Not working for me
It seems very cool but I can’t get this app to make any sound. It kind of defeats the purpose.
Why am I giving it 5 stars?
Because it works in an interesting way. It makes me think like a musician, instead of like a machine. Because I bought the App over a decade ago and unlike nearly every other App I’ve bought over the years it still works. Apple provided us with something brilliant when they made making music possible on phones. But the constant upgrade path renders the platform useless for any professional considering a career with any kind of longevity. iOS provides a closed system which can only cause problems further down the line for musicians who want to go back to their previous works. It drops creativity into a blackhole. This App proves that support and longevity are possible on this platform. Shame I can’t trust some of the major players to think of iOS as nothing more than a Kings new clothes gimmicky marketing exercise!

It will shut off automatically when page or screen is inactive, so you have to keep it open and active all the time.
Such a good idea for personalized sounds..wish there was more variety and rhythms could be developed for one sound more than once every 6 seconds. Wish there could be pages of droplet sounds incorporated.

Fantastic calming app
Lovely sound. So simple to use.
Great app! One criticism
I love the simplicity. It’s everything I expected. Although, I wish that I was able to play one rain drop sound multiple times in a play cycle.
Please add save option~

This used to work...
I am a blind person who uses voice over, and this app used to be so accessible. I could tell the colors of the drops and I could make cool melodies by myself. Now I have to turn voice over off to use the app, because it won't even tell me where the drops are on the screen, the only buttons I see are metronome, stop and help, where there was no way to contact the developer. Please fix this!

awesomely limited
I love playing with this ultra-ultra minimalist app. I know it might ruin the concept, but would gladly pay for more features, like ability to change voices, scales, etc. I would be happy to see this developed, but it delightful as it is. On 2d thought, i withdraw my request.
Amazing, but...
I love this app; it is so calming and the sounds are really cute. But the one thing that would make this app 100x better and raise my rating to 5 stars? Recording and saving. I’ll make this really cool “song”, but then when I exit the app and come back, it does not save, which I know it won’t, but it’d be soooo nice if you could record and save your melodies!!! Please consider this. 😉💙

Calming and beautiful
Every time I go back to this gorgeous little musical jewel box, I wonder anew at what a meditative, lovely experience it is. I love building a looping melody sound by sound, and then removing one sound after another until I am back to silence. I am so much more grounded and peaceful when I am done. Thank you for this gift!

Peaceful and melodic.
I used this with a lady who had Alzheimer's and who can't concentrate for long. She also can get quite anxious and frustrated. When we made our Dropophone music she was so happy and content. It was a lovely experience for us both.

アプリを開いてもすぐ落ちて使うことができなくて、横向きなのに縦から向きが変えられないまま固まってしまって使うことができなくて、再インストールしても全然ダメで、それでも何度も再インストールを繰り返してやっぱりダメで、でもアプリ消したくなくて、アップデートしてくれないかなーとずっと待っていたので、すごくすごく嬉しいです。アップデートした後に初めて使った時には感動しました。ずっと残しておいてよかったアプリです。ありがとうございます。

正直もうアップデートはされないかと思っていたので、通知があったときはびっくりしました。とっても嬉しいです。
ただ、以前にも書かれている方がいらっしゃいますが、保存機能があるとありがたいです。

ただiPhoneだからなのか雨粒が画面からはみ出してしまいあまり楽しめませんでした

Simple enough for kids, addicting for adults.
This is the perfect app for people ages 4-104 haha, seriously. It's so simply and intuitive that my little one loves it, and its so much fun to play with that even though i have $100 worth of music apps on my phone, i still play with this one.
