Lack of Time Signatures

The lack of ability to enter time signatures means that everything is just quarter notes and divisions. So, 7/8 divided 3/2/2 or 2/2/3 is not supported. Pro metronome has more features along with te ability to do this is set lists, but not as good audio. If DropSpin upgrades their time signature options rather than just “number of beats” this would become a go to rehearsal tool.

Great met!

It’s intuitive, simple, and has been a great change from a typical met or alternative apps. Love it!

Just what we needed!

We use DropSpin for marching band and winter percussion at the high school I direct. We love the feature set, and the customer service has been exceptional. Any problems we have had were promptly addressed, and I'm confident that dropSpin will just keep getting better and better.

Revolutionary

There are no other metronomes that do what DropSpin does - rehearsal analytics, sharing capabilities, drag and drop to upload…people are sleeping on this.

Password doesn’t work on phone app

I think the concept is great, but to register, I needed to go to my laptop. When I tried to login on my phone, I couldn’t because, for some reason, the same password is now incorrect. Glitches like these need to be worked out in order for this app to be useful in the world of marching band/concert band. I can’t always have my laptop available during every rehearsal. I need the flexibility of using my phone or iPad.

Not opening :(

New update not allowing the app to open on an iPhone 6s Plus

Saving Metronome Tempos

It'd be great if we had the ability to save custom metronome tempos so that we don't have to manually keep changing the tempo every time we open the app. A "memory" option like the DB-90 has would be incredible, so we can switch to our custom metronome tempos with ease.

Also, it'd be very nice if we were able to access this while putting the phone to sleep to save a little battery. Overall, fantastic app!

Response from developer

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback! That makes sense. You can always 'save' your preferences for a specific score or one that you build yourself by using score mode. To upload a score, you'll need to log in on the desktop app. If you'd like further assistance our team would be happy to chat with you, just sent us a note at hello@dropspin.io.

Amazing, but i have one major complaint

The met doesn’t play in background, meaning i can’t turn my phone off and have the met go at the same time. That’s a huge turn off for me but other than that I love the app’s freedom and simplicity.

Perfect for getting all the details incorporated.

User friendly!

Love the app but would suggest a few changes

Make it so the you can custom add subdivisions for up to 8 bars instead of 4
