GAME DIES when I pick up the DRs COAT
As soon as I drug the Dr and drop down into his office and grab his coat…the screen goes black and the game ends. I’ve played this before, and know this is barely 1/3 into the game…

BIG flaw in this game 😡
A game shouldn’t let you do something that makes it impossible to finish the game. And yet that’s exactly what can happen in this one if you don’t make exactly the right choices. To anyone who is reading this - DON’T GO INTO THE LADIES ROOM!! If you do, the nurse won’t talk to you and you won’t get a certain key which you need to complete the game. I’m female and it was totally natural to go into the ladies room. It’s all a bit confusing because earlier walkthroughs and info say that she only gives you a stone, which you don’t need to finish, but that is not the case now. Other walkthroughs show her giving you the key. It appears the game is too old to get any help or input anymore. It looks like my only option is to play over from the beginning or simply delete and abandon the game, but I’ve put a lot of time into it and am pretty far into the game. It’s really too bad because I was enjoying it. I’ve played a lot of games and have never encountered one with such a fatal and disappointing flaw. James Li, if you read this, I’d really appreciate if you could offer some help or maybe an update. I’d be happy to update my review if that happened.

a classic, with pros and cons because of its age
I understand the "historical significance" of this game and appreciate it but it also has some real problems. Dialogue is pretty bad/badly translated and navigation isn't great (but I've seen a lot worse navigation, too). Playing the first game first might help this one make a bit more sense. Rounded up to 4 stars but 3.5 would be more appropriate. Puzzles are variable; mostly easy but sometimes illogical. There are some issues with lack of intuitive-ness in all areas of the game but those are generally tolerable. The game is a bit short. And why did we pick up all those stones?

I loved the story of it! Really! I’m excited for 3! One of the beautiful detective game I ever played.
