Must-have onstage!

I have setlists for 5 bands I can access/revise/input in any order/reorder on my iPad (& PC). Many easy notation options, tools & helps. Thoughtful updates & tech. Nothing like it —been using onstage for years. It’s just what I needed!

Thank you MLDRUMS, With drummers like you who are working with more bands to keep working these days, organization is the key. My goal is to keep up with the requests for features. I am really happy with the new pattern editor update where you can make a Simple Pattern on one line or a Standard Pattern with more sounds now. My favorite feature is that the patterns are playable. Just tap the pattern in performance mode to hear tempo and feel. That is a game changer for all drummers so you can count the band in confidently and remember the song faster. More updates to come. A must have tool in your stick bag

I have been using DCB for years and it has been a huge help to improve my overall playing and learning skills! I feel that it has elevated me to the next level. The new generation of DCB and its features are awesome 🤙🏼

Great app

I have used DCB for several years now for all my drum charts. I mostly use the web version but the app comes in handy in a pinch. Using an iPad is far easier for mobile than trying on your phone but works ok. I really like this app and Liz has been really responsive in any issues/questions I have had.

Thank you so much for the great review. I try to get back to everyone with questions as fast as I can. I know we all are preparing to play every weekend so I try to be there for everyone. I am glad you are using the web app at gigs. The charts are easy to see and edit. Charts do look great on an iPad. I do not use my phone to see charts but I do use it to see setlists. Ugh

Look, I get that it’s probably intended for an iPad or a laptop, but using this app on my iPhone is one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever encountered. When you tap into a cell, the keyboard pops up for you to type, as well as one or two more app specific menus to edit the cell. Several times I had to just close the app because I couldn’t get it to exit the current cell and go to the next one. I’ll just keep doing charts by hand and scanning them in.

I get your frustration. The phone is much to small to see and edit a chart. I recommend building charts on a computer and use an iPad to view. I would recommend using the phone for viewing the setlist. It is sharp and clear. Thanks so much for your feedback. Liz Ficalora

Excellent Drum Charting App

I have been using Drum Chart Builder for several,years and as good as it was before, this version is unbelievable. Being in a request band, with over 500 songs, made it very difficult to completely chart out each song as they should be. Finding this app was just what I needed to finally chart them as they should be. With this new version I can now slowly customize them even more.
When an issue has happened I have always been able to contact and get a quick response helping me to move on.

Highly recommended!!!

Yes, this app is for drummers like you who don't need a lot of information and need to chart a song fast. 500 are a lot of songs to have to know so a quick chart will work great for you. Build simple charts and trust yourself and just play. Thanks again, Liz Ficalora
