Refuses to establish a wifi connection with the app. Changed language all by itself. App only works in portrait mode but the onscreen keyboard comes up in landscape mode blocking any view of onscreen menus. Little or no help from Dashmate whatsoever regarding issues. Waste of money. Deserves 0 stars because it’s absolutely useless.

Good one Dashmate, you don’t update your app in line with IPhone updates, now my iPhone won’t connect because the app is over 4 years old. I will never by a dashmate and be caught like this again. $250 down the drain.

It’s a great camera. It just needs the app support to make it work. This app is frustratingly annoying not keeping up with current updates.

Pathetic App, can’t connect with IOS13
Can’t connect through the app even though it’s connected via Wifi, followed instructions for troubleshooting on the website which was basically just forget the network and redone load and try again.
Did this and still no success pretty poor effort virtually makes the dash camera worthless.

WiFi no longer works
Same as the other reviews. WiFi no longer connects making it useless. Buy another brand

Due to the lasted upgrade we have lost wifi connection any solution to this problem
No wi-fi connection, no tracking and videos go missing
I’ve only just purchased this product and have tried connecting using ios13.1.3. As previous reviews have said, a wi-fi connection can not be made. It is a known issue which the Developers say is an Apple issue. I also tried to run the app on my iPad running a supposedly compatible iOS version, and found saved videos didn’t save anywhere. Also tracking wouldn’t come up. Only 1 star because I had to, but not even deserving of that.

Doesn’t connect to wifi
I just updated to iOS 13.1.2 and the app no longer works. The app keeps saying that the connection carcam wifi lost! It’s gotten to the point that I have taken the dash cam off my car. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star
Update to work with XR
App was great! But since phone update to an XR iPhone ..if you try and save a video it just disappears and is never seen again ..even after u waiting so long for it to “apparently “ download to your phone...video doesn’t save and it is then removed from device...I’ve had to record it with another iphone while playing it in my phone..just DONT try and download it because it will get deleted..
