Disappointing
I've had my drum set for many years and put off interfacing using a device, but I updated my iPhone to the newest iOS, got the correct cable, made sure I had this app going but it won't update the firmware, all of the preset lights stay lit but nothing ever happens, incredible there can be these reviews here with such a great company and no help. Very disheartened

We need support for DTX400 series
Black Screen ... HELP !!
I like the app but only when I see it. By that I mean that when I tap to open, I get a black screen. I can't do anything to fine tune the sounds. It's maddening. So I delete the app and reinstall, 4 times so far today, but to no avail. It's still a black screen. Help please.
Not working at all with the kit
Unfortunately, Yamaha doesn’t respond to any service issues with the Dtx430k interface and no longer sells the DTX400 Touch on Apple so I am stuck with old settings when it did work . I guess someone somewhere knows what to do !

I downloaded this app and I connected it to my drum module a DTX-452K and I followed all the instructions on the screen.. Somehow, something happened with the connection, and my drum module never turned on again! I had to buy a new one. This app is THE WORST!

Needs updating
It’s been over a year since an update. The app doesn’t fit the screen correctly on an iPad, you have to constantly rotate the screen after viewing the YouTube videos. The app doesn’t detect the hits correctly as it keeps stating “try again” on lesson 2 where as on lesson 1 the hits are getting picked up easily. There isn’t much difference between lesson 1&2. Very frustrating for a child having it say this constantly. On an iPhone after it tells you to “try again” the sound volume goes up on headphones or an amp then goes down again. There needs to be some sort of visual representation that it’s registered your hit with a graphic or some such. I had to turn off the lessons frequently just to make sure the drum kit was working still since it appeared it wasn’t registering properly. As the drum kits are still being sold Yamaha should keep their apps updated until the product is discontinued. We bought the DTX452k. The setup instructions should also give measurements for heights of the pads etc. off the floor when setting up the kit based on user heights.

Cannot use this app
I don’t know if the support for this has been dropped, but I cannot use this app with my dtx402 kit. It won’t update firmware, and is otherwise useless. Fixes?

Doesn’t sync
This doesn’t actually sync to my DTX402. You can move the sliders around but it has literally no effect on the drum kit.

Tive o mesmo problema que o comentário anterior, comprei a Bateria, instalei, comprei os cabos necessários pra usar o App e tbm n consegui abrir ele. O App não reconhece a bateria, vou entrar em contato com a Yama o quanto antes, to bem chateado com isso !
Não funciona
Comprei a bateria Yamaha Dtx452k e um dos fortes motivos de eu ter escolhido a Yamaha foi por conta dos aplicativos, pra eu poder estudar e me aprimorar na bateria. Comprei todos os cabos a parte pra poder conectar meu celular, e ainda por cima ele não funciona, não identifica que ta conectado na bateria.

I love my kit but can’t seem to get it to register the app properly, I have a DTX450K and it seems to connect via the appropriate cable but the changes I make on the app don’t seem to come through to the kit. Any suggestions? Cheers
