App never loaded
Never got to even see what the app offered as it never even loaded. Poor design.
Dual radio
I replaced a old pioneer deck that was a cdplayer/aux cord. I was surprised because the store I was at(Walmart) the new decks don’t come with a cd player and if you want one it’s more money. I decided to get this deck because it was the only one with a cd player there. The box looked opened and I was like kinda feeling it was a gamble because I don’t know this brand dual. Anyways I got it ripped my old deck out wired this one in myself I also changed out all my speaker wires and got a jack hammer amp and two 10 inch 500w Jbl subs connected to this. My truck Slaps so loud when playing music now. Also I was looking at other decks with touchscreen and they were like 800 dollars and I got this one for 100. the cd player works the aux works the Bluetooth works with the app. Also I bypassed one of the wires to the ground so I can watch a movie while driving but not for me for my daughter. I researched a lil online and you can make it so the dvd player works while driving. So far this new deck is dope. For the price it’s cool I felt like I saved 700 bucks getting this but only thing I don’t like is the face doesn’t detach. Also I don’t have backup camera installed on this one.

Work perfectly fine for me load the app right up it connected the very first button I pressed it actually changed the value of what I was changing

I really like the app, but it takes a long time connecting. Also is it possible for the app to connect automatically? That would be great!!!!!

Dual car radio
One of the worst products I think I’ve seen with radios the existing one in my truck was much more functional and it’s almost a decade old. I don’t recommend anyone get this radio , it won’t connect , there are problems producing sound once you do. And good luck getting this app to open for the radio.

Not happy so far
So same here as every other negative complaint. I hate being that guy but man when you just a double din or single for that matter to just work the proper way the way it's advertised that has to be a made up place cause after downloading my smart app remote which is a rip off cause after downloading the remote you have less function control than with the head unit itself so your already taking away from factory functionality. Not good in my book, but for the xvm279BT it does hold its value for what's its worth. Not a bad overall product.

Eq needs to be setup with this app!
Eq needs to be setup with this app I can’t change the settings like I want them. The xdvd269bt didn’t come with a remote so I can’t change settings that way. I’ve tried with my fingers and the settings move too much or too little. I’ve calibrated the screen many times. Is there another app or way to adjust the eq settings. Let me know! At first I thought the two 5-star reviews were bots or people affiliated with the company trying to bring the rating up but no! It works :)
I have the XVM279BT Media Receiver and it works once you set up BOTH Bluetooth connections bc it’s gonna need to connect to your device and then to the app.
So you should have a bt connection to XVM279BT and another to iPlug. Once you do just start playing music and wait a bit.
In regards to the actual remote it works well! Fast and responsive. Thank you

Dual iPlug smart remote app 😒
This App will not load. I have iPhone 10 running 13.2 everything is updated on this phone. Not sure what’s going on but really wish developers would fix this issue soon 🙁
