Dual Record Pro WP

Sideways recording fixed, Sport stabilization, HDR, heat protection and a 2× lens. • Fixed: holding the phone sideways now records a proper landscape clip (full frame) with a portrait centre crop — in Independent Lenses too, where the small box turns vertical. Sideways, the controls move into a column on the right: lens numbers, zoom, record button • Sport: a new stabilization mode and preset with the stock Camera's Action-mode class of stabilization — steadier, at a reduced field of view, below 4K • HDR (10-bit): record both files in 10-bit HLG with the extra brightness range of the stock Camera — turn it on in Pro Settings ▸ Quality • Heat protection: when the phone runs warm the screen dims while recording to keep it cool; when it runs hot, recording continues in HD/30 instead of stopping — a 4K clip is saved and carries on in a new HD file, and 4K comes back once the phone is cool • New 2× lens button on 48 MP phones — a native-quality crop, like the system Camera • Library clips are tagged HDR; stabilizing or applying a Look keeps HDR footage 10-bit • Crash and hang reports can be shared from Pro Settings ▸ Capture ▸ Diagnostics
